Mary Ann Foland MD is awesome as long as she's ordering lab work and billing your insurance company. The minute you have a question regarding lab work you can't get her on the phone or a call back. You're forced to go though her assistant Dianna who comes across as hating her job. She is extremely nasty and condescending. I've never been to a clinic where the doctor refuses to discuss lab work with a patient unless they come in for an additional visit. Additional visit = additional money. This place is an invoice generating machine.

Our family has used the Urgent Care for several years, and mostly see Dr. Hately, who is very attentive, knowledgeable, and personable.

I have been seeing a doctor at this location for years. Have never had bad service or any problems. Will continue to use these guys and recommend them.

The office staff are friendly and chipper even though you can tell they are tremendously busy. I won't be discussing any person details or any names of medical professionals to protect my health care information, but the physician's assistant who saw me was very thorough and helpful. The reason for my visit was attentively addressed and proper steps were taken to mitigate the issue. I would recommend Primary Care Associates to a friend who needed to be seen regarding an urgent healthcare matter that did not warrant a visit to the hospital Emergency Department.

While always friendly when you are within the confines of their office, the Lake Otis Primary Care location is seldom helpful when it comes to assisting patients once you leave (especially when concerning refills of medication). Several instances have occurred where either upon leaving the location and requesting that my prescription be sent to a pharmacy or after following the voice mail instructions which request that you have your attending pharmacy fax over a refill request form, their service has been lackluster at best. I sat waiting in Fred Meyers for close to an hour only to find that the prescription was never sent over. Upon calling Primary Care after hours service, I was notified that my attending physician had not filed a report of appointment and I would have to wait until the next day before I could get my medication.
I am fairly certain that if I wished to pay Primary Care in the same manner as they treat the patient medication process this would be found totally unacceptable. It is easy to be friendly when you are looking someone eye to eye, but what determines true "customer service " is what you do when eyes are not looking.
