Very friendly staff at the front desk, the staff are very helpful and patient with the children in the pediatric sub-specialty clinics. Very nice in giving a treat stickers to the children. The provider is so awesome, she always makes my son feel comfortable and welcomed. He always look forward to seeing her because she makes his visits engaging and less stressful.

Communication is excellent. If someone is unsure they check with someone who is without hesitation. Seems to be great teamwork. People are kind while remaining efficient. There have been complaints about wait time. I did wait for almost an hour past my scheduled time but they had crammed me in for an urgent situation.I was happy to wait however long they needed. Be aware they are doing this and taking care of patients. In my other appointments I have never waited more than 15 minutes past my scheduled time. As busy as they are and with the great shortage of doctors that exists I am happy to make sure I have the time to deal with such delays.

Overall Dr Brown was great. There was a little confusion when scheduling. I was given very few options for dates even though I was scheduling 6 months in advance. I wasn’t looking for a specific doctor to do my procedure. Just wanted a specific day. When I asked the person on the phone if there was any other Doctor available on my desired day, there were 3 different docs with availability. My advice is make sure the scheduler is exploring all the options when making an appointment for en elective procedure.

I had a great experience with Dr. Brown at Alaska Urology. He was very thorough with his questions and brief exam. He talked openly about first reconfirming a previous lab result that sometimes can be misleading. He then talked about possible outcomes and what they do to further proceed if their testing confirms the previous result. He then asked if I had any questions and was very responsive to any of my concerns. I was very comfortable with him and very glad that I had been placed with him. Great Doctor!

The nurses that took care of me yesterday were excellent! Very attentive and patient, she took the time to explain everything to me. My urologist Dr. Godet is excellent, he always takes the time to go over my plan of care and gets me in quickly when I’m not feeling well. His assistant Connor is amazing he always follows up with me to make sure I’m doing good and to see if I have everything I need. He always gets fits me when I’m sick. Great teamwork and I truly appreciate the care I have received.

My experience at Alaska Urology exceeded my expectations. I was attended to promptly. Vitals were taken by a very pleasant staff member, and the doctor was in to greet me within minutes. The exam went smoothly and I was given the chance to ask questions, and was treated respectfully. I was in and out of my appointment well within a 30 minute window. It was probably more like 18-20 minutes. I was very impressed.

Dr.Merriman has done 4 surgeries total on my two little boys and I couldn’t say enough good things about her! She is one of the most kind, gentle, compassionate and smartest doctors I’ve ever worked with! Both of my boys had surgeries as little toddlers and being a scared momma as my babies rolled into surgery after surgery, I didn’t worry once being that they were in her hands! Highly recommend.

The young doctor was timely expedient to a “T”, very informative in explaining what observed and option available for addressing the challenges before me. The reception and office folks really stepped in to expedite address any addition question or needs. The lab person was probably the most engaging and personable. Please except my gratitude and thanks to all of them.

I arrived an hour early due to already being in the area for a separate appointment. The receptionist said that I did not need to wait and they could do my blood draw immediately. They did just that and I was on my way home in 10 minutes. Thanks for accommodating my schedule!

Staff, Dr. Turner are top notch practitioners and great people. After going Outside for proton therapy for prostate cancer, he tracks my progress with follow-up visits, and reports his findings to Loma Linda. After a good outcome, I couldn't be more grateful for the professionalism and personal interest taken by this group, and have recommended Dr. Turner to others. Thank you all so much.
