Prairie Winds Park

Prairie Winds Park is a fantastic spot for a fun day out, especially with its excellent splash pad that kids absolutely love. The park is clean, well-maintained, and offers plenty of space for families to relax and play. However, the pool was closed during our visit, which was a bit disappointing, especially on a very hot day when we expected a lot of people. Despite this, the splash pad and other amenities still made it an enjoyable experience. Overall, a great place to cool off and have fun, but it would be even better if the pool were open.

We were only here for a short time, wow, what an amazing park. Cool large playground, cricket field, water park etc. Pathways are well maintained and you get a good view of the airport runway from the top of the hill. What a neat place. A little bit for almost everyone.

Great park, but can get busy on a weekend or when there are school events thats when I will avoid it as there can be a whole lot people especially in the paddlepool. The park also has a nice kids play zone which has slides, swings, zipline and more. There is a nice hill that you can climb for a good view of the city there are ice cream and food truck. The park is well maintained with nice flowers all around. Parking is enough but again can be limited on a busy day. Washrooms had change room & stand up showers and were well kempt again depending on the amount of people in the pool area. Ther is a splash park and outdoor shower zone. There are ample picnic benches both shaded and unshaded. Over all kids had a lot of fun. Prarie wind park has all that you need playground, splash park, paddle pool, basketball, soccer, cricket & tennis court, trails, hill with nice view, picnic benches, washrooms, parking & more. This park is awesome! A lot of playground areas, ziplines, picnic tables, the sprinkler area and shallow pool, if you're looking to have a picnic this one is an excellent choice

Nice park with the playground and splash park opened during summer. Also walking distance to mosque for muslim to pray.
