Lots of creatures like coyotes goose, ducks, prairie hens, crabs, freshwater lobsters, minnows, weasels, muskrats, beaver dams and beavers, the odd fox and coyote and rarely deer.
Lots of dams created by beaver and in the summer you can look for the baby duck and goose mostly in spring though but the one thing I'm not sure about if there are trout/carp in the wetland.
There are many trails stretching more then a kilometre and good place for walking dogs I am still very curious about if there carp/trout in the wetland because you can see
fishermen there never thought to see if they caught anything. Rumour has has it before they developed the place there where many more animals and trout and very big carp. The place used to be owned by a guy named Hanson therefor naming it Hanson ranch creek as a nickname

Lovely park to take a nice stroll on. Great views and lengthy paths. My dog loves playing in the water by the overpasses. However, I would avoid the fully fenced off leash dog park there. Poorly maintained and I frequently run into many irresponsible pet owners. They don't pick up their dogs feces nor do they have control over their dogs. Now I don't bother to go there.

Nixe place to bring your dog to interact. But i dont recommend going there to play all the time. Irresponsible owners leave their dog's feces. Poorly maintained.
The plains right beyong the fence is quite nice. There was a loose goat (?). Other than that, i would definetly going here for a walk
