My wife bring me to this coffee shop. She likes tea and the decorations there. The cake, sandwiches, tea and coffee are all good. She took some pictures of this shop. The staff there are nice and helpful. They pay good attention to the customers. The place is tidy and clean. My wife told me that she wishes some more fancy chocolate decorations around the cake next time.
What everyone has been saying. It’s a wonderfully cute coffee/tea/cake shop. Had some rose tea and some earl grey. Both yum. The tiramisu a delight. All the cakes looked wonderful. The staff were courteous and generally great at their jobs. Can’t wait to come back. Came back again and had a tasty sandwich and a slice of heaven, I mean earl grey strawberry cake. Still very impressed by the staff here
We arrived at the cafe with high hopes and were instantly disappointed. Apparently, you need to book this restaurant or else you need to wait for 30 minutes. We were about to leave when the waiter said there was a tiny spot in the corner of the restaurant. We sat down unhappily and ordered a Napoleon cake. When it arrived, it looked dry. The style of the Napoleon cake is supposed to be hard and dry, but I enjoy moist cakes better. We tried to eat it, but it just broke into pieces. We also ordered a Hot Chocolate, a Latte, a Cheesecake, and a Pomona house-blend coffee. The cheesecake looked appealing, but when we tried it, it was a little too sweet. They also refrigerated it too long so there was an icy flavour to it. The Pomona house-blend coffee was reasonable. The Hot chocolate and the Latte were surprisingly promising as well. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it if you didn't arrange an appointment at this restaurant. Also, there are English and Chinese menus available; Just ask the staff for it.
Delicious cakes and pretty good siphon coffees. Staff are super nice and attentive. Get the Earl Grey chiffon cake if it's available!
A pretty coffee tea and cake cafe in Richmond. Very reasonably priced for what they serve, a siphon coffee and a slice of cake set for a little over $13. I had a tiramisu. I would love to go back again to try their other coffees.
This little cafe is so cute ! With their fancy cakes and specialty teas. Perfect place to spend with your girlfriends!
Wayy better than starbucks for less $. Intense pleasantly acidic flavour. We had a Starbucks cup in hand and decided to try the Ponoma Ice Coffee and it was sooo good. Just let the flavours mello out with the cream and it is just so intense and unique. I can see why they won many awards Cafe Savereux was their previous name closer to Richmond centre this replaces them. Won many coffee awards and the cafe is beautiful. Prices are just right, the desserts are chinese style meaning they are not too sweet.
A wonderful gem that's worth the trip across the river. The cake was incredibly delicate, and the coffee perfectly brewed. I had the chestnut sponge cake and syphon-brewed yirgacheffe.
Beautiful cake, wonderful service, and great tea and coffee
I love their selections of coffee beans. I love that they have siphon coffee. What bummed me was not being able to -safely- get my coffee fix in the late afternoon here because they don't have decaf : Also on some days and certain hours, reservations are reccomended. Pretty unusual for a cafe, but from their menu and overall ambiance it's understandable.
