Our favourite beans and a great spot to grab a coffee. We always get compliments on our coffee since we started getting our beans here. Way better than the larger roasters we’ve been using. Always enjoy the interactions with the very enthusiastic owner. Hidden gem!
Best coffee this side of Nagasaki, whichever way you travel. Arti strives to offer you the best coffee, your way. He makes a baseline coffee and then strengthens or weakens, to your taste. I make an 80km round trip every two weeks for the best beans. I prefer a Dark Roast, but the Bronze and Coquihalla blends are great blends for a coffee novice. The owner, Arti, is a very engaging chap and his humour is right up my street. Just show some common courtesy when visiting, and it’s cash only. All I can say is this, “You won’t be disappointed.”
Fun little spot but the coffee was sour/bitter. I requested a light roasted cup of espresso and got a watery drink in a paper cup with no crema. Beans were likely roasted at high heat too quickly resulting in an over roasted outer bean and under roasted centre. Poured it out and moved on. Service wasn’t great due to poor communication and I can’t recommend their espresso if you’re looking for a light roast.
they brew freshly roasted coffee, they are so tasty!! I love buying a morning coffee, it wakes me up with nice smell of coffee!
Who dares say " a real cup of coffee" I tried a coffee latte, real awesome! The owner came from Italy, deeply loves coffee and roasts beans. I will try the arabica beans next time.
He roasts the coffee in house and you can stay for a cup of joe. A relatively unheated space with a heater and a fireplace, big open window for nice days. Roaster is right in view and you can watch him roast and ask questions about the process! Beans are available in half pound and one pound sizes, he's also got candy and biscotti from MonteCristo Bakery. This shop is full of niknacks and coffee culture, with a cool screen with European-style chill jazz and great ambient music videos playing! We're regulars. My dad won't drink any other coffee
My car is on a maintenance service around this area. And heard this coffee shop is the best knowing EVERYWHERE is closed Friendly service with awesome tasty Latte. Very impressed! Highly recommended!
I have been a customer for many years. Well worth the early morning drives across town to enjoy the smell and taste of fresh roasted coffee. The coffee beans are always excellent!
Probably the best cup of coffee I've ever had. I highly recommend trying this place if you enjoy good coffee.
I found the guy to be a jerk. Usually I don't mind when service people are stern, but I was tired and just didn't want to deal with it. On the website they don't specify that they only take cash or e-transfer, nor do they specify that there's a minimum purchase requirement of five pounds, which is quite a lot for a single person to buy all at once. This place might be good if you are very advanced in your career of buying specialty coffees, but if you are just trying to get your feet wet, look elsewhere.
