Plato's Closet buys & sells all the hottest fashion trends for teens and young adults at up to 70% cheaper than retail stores. We pay cash on-the-spot for your gently used clothes, shoes & accessories (based on style and condition) & look for current styles that have been sold in retail stores within the past 12-18 months. No appointment necessary - we recommend you come in at least 1 hour before closing. Now buying all seasons all year long - but we're choosy in the off season. Turn your closet into cash! We'd love to take a look at your stuff.

We do not accept items with stains, holes, missing buttons, broken zippers, or fading. We reserve the right to pass on items based on condition, style, inventory levels, or past experience. *Must present a valid ID when selling to us.

Has a good experience the last several times I’ve come in. Friendly staff, always quick to get me in a fitting room, even offering helpful feedback on if stuff fits or not.

Everything I've experienced at this store has been awesome. I find it hilarious that people are giving bad reviews because they think they're going to make a profit off of their clothes.. This place isn't to sell clothes to to make money, it's for people who want some money back instead of giving them away at good will. I love shopping here and I'll defend it.

Visited the store today to donate some Lucky Brand and True Religion jeans. All of them were in like new condition but I was told that there was minor spotting on all of them. I never saw the bin of clothes actually looked through and it was obvious many of them hadn't been unfolded to review. You wasted my time. I wouldn't recommend attempting to sell clothing to this store at 20% of what they will tag it, better luck posting it yourself.

I brought in about 2 and a half bags of teen clothes that had barely been used, I am serious like worn maybe once or twice, some even had tags still. It took over an hour for them to sort through or whatever and who even knows how they decide what to take. When I get back there they chose to only buy 4 of my items from me for a whopping $19.90. Might I add one of the items we're brand freaking new Nikes. It was absolutely ridiculous. It's the start of a new school year, they should be accepting everything, there was seriously nothing wrong with the clothes. Throughout the store I saw items in waaay worse condition. Anyway, very lame and very disappointed I will probably never be back. The stuff in store wasn't very great, unorganized and very few small sizes, especially in jeans. I don't recommend at all. But it was better than goodwill. I would've had better luck selling online, such a waste of time.

Great deals every time I come! Everyone seems to be butt hurt about the store not buying from them and so they leave bad reviews. Just bring things that are in good condition and that a young adult would wear. Every time I come the staff is awesome!
