Columbia Sportswear Employee Store

We get access to the Columbia Employee Store every 6 months or so through work. It is so much easier to deal with here than the Nike Employee Store. Every time I have come, I've been able to park easily and get right in to the counter to check in, no line! I usually go midday during the week. They have a ton of options available for men, women, kids, and plus sizes, though the plus size (or extended size section) is quite small. If you don't find what you want in the store, there are computers you can use to order anything from the website using the employee store discount. I have used this before and it was easy to do. Highly recommended if you get access through work.

I really enjoyed my experience here. When you first enter, a receptionist is there to check you in and checks to make sure if you have a valid pass. After checking in, you are able to explore all the amazing products they have to offer. The shoe selection is amazing, especially for the price. The women's appeal ranges from outdoor apparel to casual and can even pass as casual evening attire. If I needed help locating a style of clothing a 'on the floor' employee was always close by. I went to the fitting rooms once and there was no line. My favorite thing about the fitting room is being able to change the lighting on the mirror to see how much the appearance of colors on the clothes would change. I also thought is was awesome that they had computers available to order clothes online that they did not have at the store. The checkout was fairly quick. I saw a huge line and thought I would be there for a good 30 minutes before purchasing my items, but the line moved pretty fast and I was out under 10 minutes. I was really impressed with the staff's friendliness and knowledge. Oh, on a side note. My sister misplaced her phone there and when I called to locate it, it was already returned to the help desk. Great place for quality products.

The staff was friendly which cannot be eady with such a busy store. Even with the discounts, I find the merchandise to be too speedy for me. Who needs a thousand dollar coat? It was very warm, but a huge billboard. I have size 13 feet, so I only found a couple of pairs of shoes my size, but they were narrow. I ended up finding a nice pair of slippers. Other family member found a few items that they liked. I will likely not return, but it is not for lack of quality on Columbia Sportsware's part. Much of it was not my style and the stuff I did like was too expensive for my sensibilities.

Great place! Top of the line outdoor wear. Usually 50% off. You need an invitation to get in. Not open to the public.

Not full mark simply because it can get REALLY busy. You NEED a store pass to get into the store, but it is quite easy to get one around the town during different events or from some organization you are dealing with. Usually one pass give 4 guests to go with you as well. I think a lot of the times pass holder all go the weekend right before the pass expires. If you happen to be one of them, you will first have some trouble finding a close by parking spot. then you can expect a 15-30 minutes wait just to check-in and get into the store. So please drop off your representative in the queue before go finding parking. Once you get into the store, the checkout line might have already go around the whole store. If there is some one not caring about shopping, have him/her jump in the line right away! That could save the whole party at least 25 minutes comparing to get into the line after all the shopping. The store has a lot of selection for all your needs! it carries Prana, Mountain Hardware, Sorel, Columbia. Shoes, casual, sports goods. Pricing is pretty good! Usually the lowest ticket price is what you pay. They occasionally run additional discount on different things like backpack or yoga mats or specific styles. Those are the best deals if you do like the product.
