Great place for vegetarians in Wortley Village. I'm someone that mostly eats meat-based food, however, this restaurant was a pleasant surprise. It offers a variety of tasty vegetarian dishes. The place is clean with plenty of room. The service is friendly and attentive. They also have a quite and cozy atmosphere to be with your family, especially to seat with your children. In terms of cost, it is affordable for all type of budgets $$$. It is definitely a restaurant that I will return, and try other dishes from their healthy menu.
Serious variety of dishes from hot & cold drinks & apps to full multi-course meals. This place will convince your non-veg friends of your gastronomic wisdom and to come back again. Don't know what to try BC dairy-free is new to you? - you won't regret the brown sugar oat milk latte! It's what sold me on dairy-free not being suspect!
Cute vegan spot! Went for lunch. Quick service when my mom and I arrived. Tables already have glass bottles of water when seated. Staff is friendly. We ordered the summer salad and the Mediterranean salad. Summer salad was surprisingly good. I didn’t expect to like vanilla in a salad, but it was amazing. The croutons, blue cheese and edamame not only tasted amazing, but filled us up before we could even finish it- its rare when I can’t finish a salad. The Mediterranean salad was equally as satisfying. Our favourite parts were the pita chip topping, artichoke hearts and tzaziki sauce. The feta was also pretty good, could be a little bit saltier though.
A delicious spot in Wortley Village. Located on Wortley Rd, it can not be able more convenient. The food was absolutely delicious and left my mouth watering with the smell of smoke. They offered gluten free food at a cost which is unfortunate. Worth a try but slightly expensive. #localguides #glutenfree
This place is pretty great. Some of the stuff is wildly undersized e.g. the empanadas but most of it especially the burgers and pasta dishes is about as expensive as restaurants that serve meat. It tastes super good and simulates meat/dairy almost suspiciously well. The eggplant parmesan is probably their best dish IMO. Once they were taking a while because they were super full and they even gave us free drinks.
This is one of the best vegan breakfast/brunch places I’ve been to so far! Their speciality vegan omelette was the highlight of the meal! Their coffee with oatmilk was great as well. Good quantities and well worth the price. Definitely a must try!
I love the taste of the food but the prices are absolutely insane. I have no qualms paying top dollar for good eats, but I got the taquitos for $14.00 and received 3 of the size pictured below. That is legitimately insane. This honestly feels like robbery for the price.
Nice patio seating. Good service. Decent PMK salad though quite small for the entree price. Driest and blandest baked eggplant I've ever tasted. The white sauce on top equally tasteless. The marinated garlic in the side salad might have been better utilized to flavour the sauce! Couldn't eat more than half even though I was hungry. Commendable response to my feedback.
Chill atmosphere and nice waiters. Very laid back. Food wasn't good and definitely way too expensive for what it is. Lavender lemonade taste like you're drinking the essential oil so don't order unless you really like lavender. Mac & Cheese just tasted like plain boiled pasta. Flavorless. Definitely has potential but not somewhere I would eat again.
The food was wonderful and the service was even better. The chef came out to help us figure out what my father would enjoy on the menu as a meat eater who has a strong aversion to vinegar and most sauces. They were patient, kind and understanding and it was truly heart warming. He enjoyed his meal and we had a great time. I don’t think I’ve convinced him to stop eating meat, but we’ll definitely be back to PMK!
