AVOID THIS CHEAP GYM!!!!!!
STAFF AND THEIR MANAGER AT THIS LOCATION ARE THE WORST WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR!!!
This gym is always stinky. Plus, they charge your debt card fees without your consent. very very stupid and unprofessional gym. 
ADVISE: Pay some extra $$ and enjoy a professional gym like GoodLife Fitness or maybe Life Time fitness!!!

I've been to a lot of locations, but the community in the Etobicoke location is by far the best. If you enjoy good company and vibes, definitely work out here; it's a little cozy, but everyone is super friendly. Just like you, they are trying to improve their quality of life ✌👍

Kevin the front desk attendant was not great at communicating. His customer service skills lacked professionalism and overall friendliness. Felt rushed and like a burden for asking questions. 2 stars for customer service.

i've been frequenting this gym for a while now and thought it was a positive environment until i saw something really unnecessary and unprofessional from the management. 

I was pretty cool with one of the employees that had just started working there recently and he seemed like a diligent worker and great person to have around the gym. he was at the front with a manager when the manager told a certain customer that he would have to bring his card back and sign back into the gym (his card was in the locker). the employee told him he could just sign in using his phone number (which is accepted at all planet fitness locations). after the customer had left, i heard the manager explode at the employee and he said "What the F*** was that? do you think you know better than me? you dont. dont undermine my authority." the employee said he just mentioned it for the customer's convenience as it was an option he was taught about just days before. the manager continued to swear and it was over. 

i found out later that the employee did not quit, but was FIRED. HE WAS FIRED FOR THIS.

planet fitness is supposed to be a positive environment. this is disgusting, unprofessional and completely unacceptable. i won't be returning. shame on the management for dealing with the situation the way they did.

Generally the gym is good. Nice facilities.
However two big issues-
Staff don't enforce the policies, like no cell phone use. On a quite morning there are probably 10 people on their phones clogging equipment.
The 30 min circuit is used as part of the general workout equipment making it impossible to complete the circuit.
The staff seem to spend most of their time hanging out behind the front desk (3-4 at a time).
They friendly and helpful when asked but are not doing their job.
