I personally love this place , and the price is right free!!! Friday Saturday and Sunday have a free swim , most part it’s usually spotless , the staff is super friendly!!! What do ya got to lose , and so much to gain check it out
This facility has been updated a little, but it is one of the 50 yr old pools that is fairly dark and windowless. It tends to be pretty hot inside, but water temperature is OK. Showers are currently blocked off every other shower head for Covid, but cleaning is more regular, which is good. It used to have a lot of hair and dirt on the floors, and still, one sees broken little cheese crackers on the floor. Guards are amiable, and I am happy to have a place to get a swim workout again. I do hope they keep broader lane swim hours even when Covid is over. This has been a real plus for lane swimmers across the city.
Cleanliness of change rooms can be better. Water in the pool is too cold! But the staff is friendly and helpful.
Good pool, good teachers.Exception are always there in my case life gaurd Amy very rude self obsessed should not be apart of the amazing team. Very accommodating manager, Andrew. When the concern was presented to him,he dealt with it with utmost care. Overall good experience. Something that I really like in policy is if the pool is closed for fowling they refund for that class and teachers try to reach you in time so you don't take efforts to get there. Very young but very professional teachers.
Great place for kids nice experience
The staff of a 'Health' club have parking closer to the door than people who are handicapped! Someone leading a 'life saving' course did not wear a mask nor insist that his students wear or keep their masks on. Swim times for people with children or handicapped like me who am unable to swim laps have swim times that are too late in the day to be comfortable in getting home and prepared for bed before 11pm
This is a small pool but good for swimming lessons and swimming laps. There are stairs in the shallow end to get in and out of the pool and they have tables for the kids to stand on in the pool. There is also a small gym here but I have never gone to it. For the change room for the pool....this area needs work. Its always dirty, clumps of hair on the floor, smells of urine and BO, etc. I would not walk on the floors in this change room without shoes.
Some swimming instructors are great but others need more training because they don't know how to handle disruptive kids so the other kids can learn. Change rooms are disgusting. They should be tougher making parents to follow rules such as NO footwear inside showers and the swimming platform.
Great for hockey games and activities
One star rating for Albion Pool is far too generous. The woman working the front desk has terrible customer service skills and is extremely rude. This pool is also poorly managed by the employees who work there. You are better off swimming in a rain puddle than at this pool.
