Great place to get the feel of Montreal, amazing variety of food, a lot of shopping, including books, pharmacy, grocery, are available in this complex. Be thai, vietnamese, mexican sushi all are amazing.Enjoyed the lunch and had a variety of food in this unique downtown fun place of villemari.. Must-visit, and it's very vibrant. The footfalls will amaze you. And also, the sprawling place is attractive

Place Ville Marie is one of Montréal’s iconic downtown landmarks and an interesting mix of architecture, shopping, offices, restaurants, and underground connections. Its central location makes it a convenient stop while exploring downtown.nnThe building and surrounding complex are particularly interesting if you appreciate Montréal’s modernist architecture. It’s also connected to the Underground City, so you can easily explore more of downtown without being outside the whole time.

Allegedly,I am so tired and it’s not the first time. Every time i set foot in this mall, sit and have a coffee ,security is around me like i am a threat to humanity. I work hard for my money and pay my taxes. Dress well and do not bother no one. Spend a lot of money in many of these restaurants and stores . I spoke with the security guy today 15/06/2026 at around 1:30 pm and asked him why they are profiling the few black people that go there Allegedly ? He told me that i was harassing him and that he will call the police to Complain about me just for asking this question just to shut me up. Instead of being reassuring and offering solutions . The Place is beautiful and by no means this is an attack on the Establishment itself . People are nice in there. Never had any issues.Maybe Management could teach the security people a course or two on Cultural Diversity. With all their cameras around , they can see who is causing problems and no need to walk by you and look at you every minute because you are black. I understand security have to do their jobs but profiling is another thing. Allegedly.

Went after a few months and the place looks so much better. There have been some renovations and now it looks like high-tech and modern. The decor is very inviting. And there are new shops and eating places downstairs so I am excited to explore much more.
