If you’re looking for a fun day out with the kids, I highly recommend the Eaton Centre. We took the kids there recently, and it was a blast!nnThere are so many food options, so whether you’re in the mood for something quick and affordable or a nice sit-down meal, there’s something to satisfy everyone’s cravings.nnShopping is a breeze too – the variety of stores is amazing. From trendy fashion to cool specialty shops.nnHonestly, it’s a fantastic spot to explore.
Montreal's downtown is known for being a vibrant and bustling area, with something happening almost all the time. It's home to numerous restaurants, bars, shops, and cultural venues. There are also frequent festivals, street performances, and events, especially during the summer. The blend of historic architecture and modern urban design adds to the energy of the area. Whether you're into art, food, nightlife, or shopping, downtown Montreal has a lot to offer!
Timeout eating area was a cool to be. The food was good, restaurant price though.nQwelli is my favourite one. The art of Gelato! Hope to have it in Toronto one day.
I visited the Eaton Centre in Montreal on August 3, 2024 around 3:30 pm and had a bit of an interesting experience with the security and building access. The mall seemed quite busy that day, so parking was a bit of a challenge and I ended up having to park further away from the main entrance.nnHowever, I was pleasantly surprised when one of the security guards noticed me walking from the distant parking lot and proactively came over to offer assistance. He was very friendly and helpful, guiding me through the best route to access the building. Unfortunately, when I got to the main entrance, I found that a few of the access points were closed off at that time in the afternoon.nnThe security guard again stepped in, directing me to an alternative entrance that was still open. He was patient in ensuring I found my way in smoothly despite the limited access. Overall, while the parking and building access had a few hiccups due to the busy conditions, the attentive and helpful security staff made the experience much better. I appreciated their willingness to go the extra mile to assist customers like myself. This video shows the security guard who was guarding me to alternative ways wearing a blue long sleeve top.
Keeping it simple—this place is much better than our Eaton Centre in Toronto. The TimeOut Market food court really surprised us. All of the booths had delicious-looking food, and it was a pleasant surprise to see ceramic plates instead of plastic.
