Pinehaven Bed & Breakfast

This place was my sister's pick and it turned out to be a really good one. Our hostess was so sweet, and chatty and friendly... we enjoyed some iced tea in the screened porch area when we arrived and it was so cozy. The rooms were homey and comfortable but also aesthetically pleasing... It isn't a log cabin feel, nor is it exactly "farm house." They've done a good job of combining the comfortable and cozy with some rustic elements and not going overboard into kitschy-land. The breakfast was lovely: fruit, a crustless quiche, lovely fresh muffins... the company was good too, a very nice younger couple from Illinois. We loved their dog Abby, and she was so well behaved, not going anywhere near the guest rooms. I loved the easy entry into the house with the keypad near our room so we didn't have to worry about disturbing others coming and going. These people have made some very intelligent and tasteful choices and we appreciated their hospitality!

We had the pleasure of staying in the cottage at Pinehaven and were in awe of this little gem just outside Baraboo. The cottage was immaculate - absolutely the cleanest, most organized place. The beds were very comfortable, view from the window was incredible and the location of this place was very convenient. The owners are wonderful people who made our stay absolutely perfect!! We will be back - later this summer, some time in the fall and maybe even when the snow is falling! Thank you Dave and Pam for providing us with a wonderful experience!! Can't wait to see you again!

An excellent getaway spot. The rooms were impeccably clean. The breakfast was absolutely delicious- the perfect start to a full-day of hiking. The owners are incredibly hospitable and helpful. The owners gave us a map and showed us how to get to Devil's Lake and to Pewit's Nest Waterfalls, both of which I would recommended for hiking or swimming. The B&B is close to downtown Baraboo and Devil's Lake. In the morning, I also enjoyed quiet walks around Pinhaven's grounds and stand-up paddle boarding on the pond. At night, I relaxed by stargazing out on the deck. I live in Chicago, and this made a perfect weekend trip. I would definitely stay at Pinehaven again!

Outstanding B&B experience! Perfect rural location, beautiful setting and wonderful hosts. I cannot say enough about our stay other than the fact that my wife and granddaughter would have preferred to cancel our vacation and just stay here for a week instead.

Pinehaven was our very first experience at a bed and breakfast! We couldn't have made a better choice! It is a beautiful setting and very peaceful.Each room has such an unique decor and are immaculate! Breakfast was a delightful experience and so delicious. Pam has such a gift of hospitality and certainly makes you feel right at home. Thanks Pam for making our stay so enjoyable! Gene and Jean Haines
