Pilgrim Inn & Cottages

The people were very nice. The cottage we stayed in and the grounds were well maintained, cozy and had everything we might need. Including a iron, ironing board, microwave and refrigerator. The only initial problem was no outlets by the bed but then I remembered I was on vacation and decided that wasn't necessary.

Clean sheets and towels but bathroom was cramped and poorly appointed. It was recently renovated but they left holes in the walls and put in the absolutely cheapest fixtures. The first cabin they tried to give us smelled like an ashtray. For the money stay at the Econolodge across the street .

Okay value for the money. The beds were comfortable and the continental breakfast was sufficient, but the hospitality was lacking. Our room was not cleaned once during our 4-night stay, despite the front desk saying they would clean after two nights. The room layout was rather cramped but did the job for our stay.

For a place advertising free breakfast should specify what's lacking such as eggs and 2 day old bagels. The place was clean however the water temperature was very fickle so adjustments during a shower was required.
