Timberloch consists of 10 housekeeping cottages, with a gorgeous stretch of beach right on Newfound Lake, NH. We specialize in weekly vacation rentals. Book by visiting us at www.timberlochcottages.com.

Story

Timberloch consists of 10 rustic, housekeeping cottages that were built in the early part of the 1900’s. Our cottages are both one and two story structures that are well kept, cozy, and sleep between 6-8 people. Each cottage has a modern kitchen and bathroom and an ample screened in porch to view the lake. All the cottages have gas heaters and five of the cottages have original stone fireplaces.

We have nearly 200 feet of gradual, sandy beach on crystal clear Newfound Lake. Our beach is second to none in the Lakes Region. With gorgeous views and stunning sunsets, it is no wonder why our customers come back each season!

Timberloch Lodge is a place to relax and enjoy the “slower paced life." We have wireless capabilities, but do not offer televisions or phones. We encourage our guests to bring plenty of reading material for relaxing days on the beach or evenings around the fireplace.

Our week at Timberloch is the highlight of our year. It's a great place for families to slow down and spend quality time together. The cottages are clean, cozy, and well equipped for cooking. The screened in porches are great for quiet time together reading, talking, or playing board games at night. The beach has stunning views, clean, clear water, and plenty of Adirondack chairs. There is quite a bit of shade on much of the beach during the day, so no need to pack your beach umbrella. There are several kayaks, canoes, paddles, life jackets, mooring buoys and a rowboat that are free for visitors to use. It's a wonderful place to spend a week, and the owners, Barbara and Jack, could not be kinder.

I can't say enough good things about this place! I had my wedding across the street at The Inn on Newfound Lake and rented these cabins for guests. The owner was very accommodating and helpful throughout the process of getting everyone booked and paid. After the wedding, he built a big bonfire on the beach at 11pm that most of the guests (even the ones not staying at the cabins) came to hang out and talk at. We had a breakfast on the beach the next morning before everyone took off. 

The cabins themselves are very nice, rustic cabins right on the water with all the modern accommodations that are necessary. No problems at all. Would definitely recommend staying here--some of my guests plan on coming back and renting them for a weekend in the summer!
