Great place to camp! The beaches are sandy and groomed. Lots of families, so the kids always have someone to play with. The well maintained mini golf gives the kids something extra to do with treats for reward when the round is done. The playground for the kids is lacking, but the new manager says a new play ground is coming. Bathrooms are not fancy, but they are clean. They do have new stainless sinks do your dishes in. The staff are all helpful and friendly. Awesome improvements since my last visit in 2020.
Beautiful spot but the noise from trains is terrible. During the weekend is not bad but on week day the trains are more frequent and grounds are shaking. The spot is great for paddle boarding.
We spent 5 days here. This was our second time. Great location, close to Salmon Arm for shopping. All sites are close to the beach, everything is well kept and clean. The Managers actually drop by and say hi and chat. Very friendly and accommodating, not to mention the price was affordable for camping. A little mini-golf on the side and we found it very relaxing. Would stay again.
This year we have had the most amazing time at Pierre’s Point Campground! We have stayed twice already this summer and will be again this coming weekend. Under the new management, the campground has cleaned up, the bathrooms are clean, new dish washing area, the staff are very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this campground to anyone visiting the Shuswap!! The beaches are fantastic!! Will definitely be going back next year if we don’t get a seasonal site!!
Good campground. A little dusty and dirty but close to beach. Price is good and bathroom and showers are clean, also has free mini golf. Only issue i have is its right beside a train track that has trains all day and thru the night. Other than that it is great. Would go back
Owners are very kind and caring, lots of new updates to the grounds that make the space welcoming and fun to be in! Love the mini golf and easy access to the beach and lake. The dog beach is absolutely incredible, it is an absolute game changer for your beach vacation if you have dogs. Being able to set up on the beach with the dogs for the day is a lovely experience! There is a train that runs by the property, but that is not in anyones control - you get used to it!
I loved my experience here. The staff was friendly, had 24 hr security and kept the washrooms clean. All sites have power and water and the beach is right there.
We really enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely be back! We were tenting, and the sites were really large with lots of shade, had water and electricity. We were close to the lake, and the free mini golf at the campground was an added bonus. The whole family had an amazing time. We were really happy with the experience, overall.
Nice small camp with a close spot for swimming. The only draw back is the occasional train at night time.
Great place. Its on the beach and campers are close to each other. First Nations own and operate this park on their land. Okay the trains are loud. But iif you expect that you will be fine.
