Pho XL

Had to satisfy my craving for a nice light snack and this certainly hit the spot. The owner is super nice. Nice beefy soup with fantastic cuts of meat. Had the cute large sized bowl- gone in 10 minutes. Next time I must go for the Pho XL let’s see how long it will take to demolish it!

Our second visit here. Was thinking to share their house special XXL pho, was told it was too much equivalent of 2 XL for two of us. Instead ordered their rare beef and brisket pho 18 on the menu and rare beef, brisket, tripe and tendon pho 22 on the menu. The broths were clear yet flavorful. The meats were tender. The herbs were fresh. Excellent service. Probably the best pho place in the area.

I tried their food for the first time ever. It was an order of spring rolls which was definitely the best of all!!!!!!!! Then I also tried their vegetarian rice noodles and it was definitely delicious. Also the rice and vegetables was very good too. I am definitely going to this Vietnamese Again becauseI absolutely loved their food and I don’t think I can ever get bored of it. I loved their food. 100 on hundred for customer service and food as well.

Pho was delicious. The small size was quite small and had very little noodles. If you are feeling hungry, you better order a large. We came here for lunch and the restaurant was packed. The food took a while to come but we did make it out within an hour. We’ll be coming back.

Came here on a stroke of good luck, and the place was fantastic!!! We ordered the Pho XL special pictured, spoon for size comparison and we were blown away by the size of the bowl. Not only that, but the broth was just the right amount of flavour, the cuts of beef were great, and it was overall just very satisfying. The place is decorated nicely, clean, and the staff and owner were friendly, which made us want to support them even more. If you’re in the mood for pho, we totally recommend this spot!!

5/5 stars. The Broth was amazing - clear and refreshing while still being complex with a hearty body. The meat was fresh, and tasty. The veggie and garnish balance was on point. A little heavy on the noodles, but not overwhelmingly so. While at first glance, the prices aren't the cheapest, their sizing seems to be a step above the rest. I had an XL, expected it to be a decently large sized bowl, and got this mammoth. The tea was well served, inside a glass mug pictured. Customer service was amazing, as there actually is table service, a rarity in Vietnamese cuisine. Prep time was fast, at under 5 minutes. The wait staff was knowledgeable, and responded to customer inquiries well. Because of the pricing and the larger portions, I cannot give this a value pick, however, Pho XL receives a quality pick from me. TLDR; Amazing food, customer service, and portion sizes. While price isn't the cheapest, Pho XL's larger sizes and balanced flavour profile compensate.

I’d give the Phở a 4/5 but their Bún Bò Huế looks and tastes more like Bún Riêu with thin vermicelli so unfortunately it’s a 2/5 for the BBH. Clean place. Friendly service. Just not sure why my Vietnamese ice coffee was only half full when I got it which looked a bit ridiculous.

Amazing pho and bun bo hue!!! The pho is so flavourful and the meat is so tender and fresh. The bun bo hue is ACTUALLY spicy. Usually other restaurants cater to the crowd around them and make their dishes more mild. Not this place! It had the perfect amount of spice and the flavour was stunning. Oh, and a bonus you get some green chillies along with your dishes. When the owner realized the chillies weren't spicy enough for our palates he brought us some deadly hot red Thai chillies.. Amazing service. This place is absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend anyone who wants some good Vietnamese food!

This place is FANTASTIC. The broth is rich and flavourful without being too salty. The bowl is actually bigger and deeper than the picture suggests. All of the meat was very fresh, tender and plentiful. I especially liked the meatballs which were meaty and springy without being overly chewy. I shared the XL Pho and still couldn't finish, definitely a great value for those brave enough. The owner was very nice. I'll be back for the rice dishes soon.

This is a small but very cozy location to have some great Vietnamese/Thai cuisine. The family is very courteous, friendly and provide great recommendations from their menu. We thoroughly enjoy the staples; Pho, cold rolls, and many more. Their Pho is highly recommended as the meat and broth were fresh and clean. No messy cuts of meat here. Even the condiments not only complimented the main dishes, but added another dimension to the pallet. The price you pay for your meal is very reasonable. For the quality and portion of your dishes, it is worth your visit. Will be a regular here during the winter months for sure.
