Recently I tried Pho 99. The seatings were comfortable and spacious. Their menu also offered a range of dishes, including Thai cuisine, but we were in the mood for Vietnamese food. As you can see our order served a lot of soup, but I found my order of medium rare beef and tendon rice noodle soup to be quite oily. The tendon portion was a bit small, but they provided generous slices of beef and noodles. My hubby ordered the well-done brisket and triple rice noodle soup, which had plenty of beef but not as many noodles. Perhaps they didn't split the portions evenly. However, they provided generous portions of lime and bean sprouts on the side. Surprisingly, there were no bottled sauces on the table, and the dish they provided for sauce was quite small, especially the hot sauce I love . Overall, the soup broth was rich and flavorful, tasted pretty good, and the only issue was that the brisket was a bit dry and my soup was a bit oily.
The Vietnamese food here is pretty good and Id say one of the best out west. The prices are reasonable and are generous with the portions. The chicken and beef and the pho broth all have good flavour. The staff are also very friendly. I would suggest to call in for an order as they can get really busy.
A delight and delicious treat to visit Pho 99 Mississauga. My first ever visit to this Vietnamese Restaurant was memorable. The food was amazingly tasty, especially the Pho soup, and dinner. I would recommend to visit this Pho 99 restaurant in Mississauga. 5 Stars for cleanliness, tasty food and friendly service. Keep it up.
Very good service and attentive, nothing like others. The pho meat and soup was good. The seafood rice noodle I like, especially they stir fried the rice noodles a bit before mix it with the toppings.
Worst meal ever!! Ordered beef stew “bo kho” The beef was uneatable!!! Garbage meat you throw out, hard and chewy can’t swallow it. I’m shocked they served such uneatable beef. Paid $13 for soup and 2 pieces of carrots. Left the place STARVING to eat at another pho restaurant
Very clean place. My first experience of having Pho and I am happy that it was at this place. The order came in soon and the service was quick.
I’m addicted. The broth is rich and extremely tasty. I normally get the grilled chicken with it, which is unbelievably good. Huge amount of chicken. Tastes like its right off the BBQ. We love this place and keep ordering again and again :
Servers sit you quickly...they want you to eat and leave efficiently. They don't rush you, but they don't waste time, at least not for lunch. The serving sizes are the best we've encountered in Mississauga for a Pho restaurant, and the taste is excellent and cooked very well. Other restaurants we've been too usually overcook or burn the meat ....but not here, not so far. Parking: Lots of parking in the mall.
Price and quality are good. The menu is thick. We enjoy coming back and exploring the menu!
Must say did not have much exposure about the Vietnamese cuisine so ended up trying something I know as I was super hungry and did not read many reviews before coming here. Ended up getting the Thai curry chicken which was extremely tasty. Pad Thai was average and tried one Vietnamese dish called shrimp in mung bean cake - which I am not very impressed about. We did a take out but overall this seems a spacious place with ample of seating and parking available. Would try authentic Vietnamese dishes next time
