We visited the SFU campus on a windy day, so a bowl of warm soup was the only food we craved for dinner. While exploring the view of this campus, we luckily walked passed Pho99 restaurant. The location is near the parking lot and bus loop, so it is easily accessible. Our first impression of the restaurant was its friendly atmosphere and the professional customer service. The restaurant offers various dishes of Vietnamese cuisine. The menu includes soup, dry noodles and rice. We had the spicy noodle soup aka Bun Bo Hue, a dry vermicelli bowl with grilled chicken and minced pork and the 4-season rolls. The soup had a perfect spicy level with so many toppings. Also, the grilled chicken was super tasty. And the bowl itself, in my opinion, was considered a healthy meal as it came with a lot of vegetables. Last but not least, their 4-season rolls dish was the perfect experience for us to "taste testing" their creativity=P. Trust me, the experience is overwhelmingly satisfying. Overall, we had an extremely pleasant experience at this restaurant. We will come back to try out more of their food.
A perfect spot for Vietnamese food in SFU neighborhood. The decoration is really appealing compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in Victoria Dr. I had a chance to try their Pho with Medium-rare beef and beef balls. I could say that the broth is Vietnamese authentic one and I really like it. Although the place was packed with students during noon time but I got served really quick. The staff were attentive and responsive. I would strongly recommend you guys to try this authentic Vietnamese Pho noodle. Oh they also have a menu for veggie-lovers!!!
I have the #62 Rice Plate grilled lemongrass chicken and pork chop, and it is absolutely delicious. The rice is cooked to perfection: very aromatic, and sweet. The chicken is very well-marinated, tender, and fragrant. The pork chop, which I believe is flame-grilled, is definitely amazing, and it really reminds me of the taste I had in Saigon. The fish sauce has a little pineapple hint to it, and tastes great. Would have been awesome if it was thickened down a little, but that’s okay still. Overall, it is a flavourful, and beautiful dish. Definitely recommend to everyone. Love this Pho 99 location, very consistent, great and friendly service, and relaxing environment.
Came here with a friend and we both got the lemongrass chicken vermicelli with one spring roll. It was delicious. Portions were very generous. It came with lots of vermicelli, and tons of veggies too. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside. Service was quick and friendly.
I recently dined at a Vietnamese restaurant and was blown away by the delicious food and excellent service. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu was extensive, featuring a range of traditional dishes and unique specialties. I opted for the pho and it was hands down one of the best I have ever had. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the ingredients were perfectly cooked. The spring rolls were also a standout, with the crispy exterior and savory filling. The portion sizes were generous, leaving me feeling satisfied but not overly full. Overall, I would give this restaurant a five-star rating for its excellent food, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere. I cannot wait to go back and try more of the menu.
I got the Speciality Soup soup for lunch and 100% recommend everyone to try, especially for people who enjoy spicy food. Compliment to all the cooks for making it to perfection. Last but not least, cant ignore the warm welcome from all servers of the restaurant and their friendliness.
I got the bun vermicelli, no soup. I've have much better ones. Also, their vermicelli noodle is too thick to my liking. The chicken was bland. In my experience with bun, the meat protein is grilled or charbroiled but theirs was like...plainly cooked. The fish sauce is also bland as well surprisingly. Maybe I'll try the pho next time.
Great pho craving fix if you live nearby. However, the noodles are very chewy for my liking. And the fried rolls are bland. Otherwise, value is good.

The most amazing pho place. Amazing food, fast service and fast seating! Great for lunch or dinner, I’ve gone late after class before and the prices are worth it for sure. 1000/10
