Phil's Tara Hideaway

Have now been here numerous times and have been so impressed every time! Always busy and the food is amazing. We were overwhelmed with our Prime Rib and have had it 3 times. Great portion size and service is excellent. We only wish they had a larger restaurant so it wasn't quite so noisy and crowded. One of the very best places in Stillwater. What a Gem! We will be regulars and we've taken others there to enjoy as well. We tell everyone about this place!

Why doesn't the whole world know about this place? Amazeballs! I don't know if the NY strip or the charred lobster tail salad was better. The duck was great, so was the grilled pear salad to accompany that! Delicious food, cheap drinks. What more could you ask for?

While I will admit that the food is good here in the two times I've been here, the rude staff and the cramped environment turn me off from giving this place business. Long waits to get in, tables/chairs packed tightly together. There were multiple occasions where either other patrons or staff bumped into our table, causing food or drink to be spilled, ruining the dining experience. No apologies from staff either which equals terrible customer service. This could be a far better place if they got their act together when it comes to customer service and figured out a safer, more spacious, seating arrangement for their customers. Until that happens, I don't recommend this place.

Had to wait for a little while because they were so busy. But definately worth the wait. Everything we had was amazing!! Our table had prime rib, broiled shrimp, and stuffed trout. Excellent!!!

Unique food that was tasty. It's pretty small though and gets busy. Would recommend, weekdays might be better
