Welcome to the sweetest place in town!

Story

The Sugarbowl has been providing a unique atmosphere to the Garneau community and Edmonton as a whole since 1943. In this time it has taken on many shapes and forms, from a burger joint to coffee house and finally to the present as a bistro/neighborhood pub.

Evolving into a full-service bistro/neighborhood pub, we have introduced full menus featuring breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch. We're also pleased to offer a unique selection of premium Belgian draughts and international import beers. We hope you'll enjoy sampling as much as we've enjoyed selecting.

Through all the growth and change our vision has remained the same: to offer a place that is comfortable, a place that builds friendship and community and a place that is as much about the people inside as it is about anything else. Absolutely fantastic service everytime I have been here. Their coffees are some of the best in Edmonton. Their food is phenomenal and generous portions. Great beers on tap and offering to go beers, ciders and wine.

Such an awesome place that brings so many good memories from my time at University. I can come to this place every time I visit YEG and it never dissapoints. Also, their service is usually pretty good and easy going.

Great spot. Love coming for  cinnamon bun at breakfast with a delicious beer I don't always have beer at breakfast btw, lol. The staff is always great too.

Great food and service. Keep in mind that you can't make reservations so its first come first serve. On Sundays your most likely going to be waiting outside so I recommend bringing something warm to wear. Meat eater and vegan/vegetarian options available. Don't forget to check the board in the restaurant for the daily features!

I hadn't been to this place in a long time before this visit. The food was actually really good, I had the beef burger. Also had Alley kat beer which is always good
