Pezim Clinic

Key things- Receptionist was welcoming and nice. RN Allison was able to get me spot next day real quick. Dr Pezim did explain me about pros and cons and just wait it out since I had a blood clot. Had to call in again and RN Allison was able to book me next day appointment. They did a 5 minute procedure to take the blood clot out,checked on me and made me feel comfortable. Gave me tips to heal the wound, advice on pain medication to be taken ASAP, breathing technique to avoid this. Overall I feel satisfied with this clinic and Dr Pezim and RN Allison was helpful and did a great job!

Dr Pezim and his staff are so fantastic. After my first visit I left in tears of joy. They were kind, compassionate and treated me in a way that made a very uncomfortable situation much better. There was a nurse in the room the whole time, which I appreciated very much, and she was so lovely. There was consent asked for everything that happened and I felt safe. I had a surgery scheduled for a week after my initial visit and it went super smoothly. They treated me with such warmth I felt completely secure. Also worth noting I went to the cleator clinic prior to this and it was a horrendous experience. They told me my surgery was going to be $1000 and that it wasn’t in my best interest to do it. Dr Pezim recommended I have it done and it was covered by my MSP. I highly recommend this clinic.

I have the nice experience to deal with Dr. Pezim and staff. The banding procedures were painless and effective. Dr. Pezim is great professional! After the second band my bleeding completely stopped and I happy!

So called Dr. Pezim is unprofessional, unethical, arrogant, misleading, uncaring, unloving and pathetic human being !! Unfit to practice medical support to suffering patients. His license should be suspended so that more people can be saved by the real competent caring doctors!!!

Misdiagnosed me. Said I had diverticular disease. He literally told me to “do nothing”. It turns out I have a tortuous/loopy/redundant bowel. Also scar tissue which he scoffed at when i asked if that was a possibility. Thankfully I finally got into a gastro who did a proper colonoscopy. Pezim never even completed my sigmoidoscopy as it was too painful yet he insisted he saw all he needed to see and that i should “do nothing”. Steer clear of this neglectful doctor, find someone who will take your pain seriously and not scoff at you and shuffle you out the door.

I found Dr Pezim and staff super professional and approachable. I was crazy nervous. Not only was Dr Pezim engaging but he chatted with me and I totally relaxed. Great experience for me. Thank you

Dr. Pezim is a wonderful doctor, he was able to fit me in quickly and efficiently. He and his team are very professional, and truly dedicated to best patient care and treatment outcomes. Patients are lucky to have access to such quick and competent specialist care here in Vancouver. It really is too bad other provinces such as Alberta do not allow access to private gastroenterology procedures as this significantly decreases patient wait times and stress. Forever grateful to Dr. Pezim for his skill and expertise, it is hard to find medical professionals who have a true calling for their profession like him.

Horrible experience with this clinic. After 4-5 visits to this clinic with the same persisting issue, they refused to do any type of procedures or further testing, so I gave up. I called in 3-4 months after I was given another referral to this clinic. Another 3 months later they got back to me via email saying that they now want a second opinion and have referred me to a doctor that is no where near my current location. A phone call would be nice to talk to me about the situation.. But no one seems to answer the phone, via text or via email. Beyond frustrated. Do better.

If I could give this clinic a zero I would. The RN Alison and Dr. Pezim are the most unprofessional people I have ever encountered. I had the most horrific experience where the Dr. and nurse laughed at my pain and said that my story doesn’t make sense to him, comparing my issue to someone dying and having a heart attack.. disregarding my symptoms and did not perform a full examination. This was a sever form of malpractice and I ended up in the ER because of it. I would avoid this place at all cost and they shouldn’t even have a license to practice.

Dr Pezim and his lovely nurse were friendly and to the point. Appointment was on time and efficient which I really appreciated. Ariel the MOA made booking easy and convenient and was able to do it by text. All in all considering the nature of the appointment a pleasant experience lol
