Great company, service, and work. They're a family owned business and their style of doing business is a little more relaxed and informal, but still professional. If you like the 'small-town service' feel, you'll like Petro. They've done three jobs for me, ranging from minor repair to rough-in plumbing work on new construction and each time the work has been fantastic, prompt, and at a very reasonable price. The techs are professional, personable, knowledgeable, and honest. They even vacuum the work area before they leave. Highly recommend.

Sean came and looked at the work required. Advised he would return the next week and scheduled appointment with both him and Nick at Petro Plumbing. Sean was a no-show. Called them and Nick said Sean had the "day off," despite scheduled appointment. Talked with Ashley, who said they would schedule Tim, who would come over right away to look at the job. Tim was a no-show. Called the company again, and Ashley said they "did not do" the kind of work I requested (a tub/shower surround). I explained that the invoice from Sean stated a return to complete the work and that I was without any bathroom. Talked with both John and Ashley the next day, and they explained what she meant by her comment. They said a person would come over the next day and do the work. No one showed. I talked with Ashley again, and she said that her dad was "trying to get a team to come out the next day" and would call me back. She did call, but did not leave a message. I called her back within five minutes, and she did not answer. No one from the company called or showed the next day to do the work as promised.

Family business. People are very nice. Other companies wanted a $70 fee just to come and look at my water softener, before installing it. (and that $70 was not going to come off their bill!) I was so pleased when Ashley asked me to text her a photo of my water softener unit, then she said that they could do it. No estimate fee. I just scheduled the install date, and done. Which came in at a lower price than I had anticipated. The employee who came to the house was so polite, and nice. He was very capable and trustworthy. Explained things very well. I have just scheduled them to do a second job in my home.

Wow, I thought all plumbing companies were the same. Not true. These guys are a cut above. They are incredibly professional, timely, and thorough. I've had them out to my house for emergencies and for new plumbing jobs when I put an addition on my home. Each time, they treated my home like it was theirs, explained any issues thoroughly, and gave me fair pricing. It's nice to know that a small business like this exists in the Kalamazoo area, you don't find them everyday anymore. I would highly recommend them. Ashley
