Zimmerman Plumbing and Heating Service

We have a historic home and a boiler system. Zimmerman has been invaluable over our 10 years here. Initially we called to learn to care for our system, several years later needed to have the boiler replaced and have added individual thermostats to 13 of our radiators. They know their business and are excellent to work with.

Excellent customer service! Pleasant, efficient, and professional plumber-practitioner. I called Zimmerman's because I had a problem with turning on the shower in my guest bathroom. John Kemp was sent out right away. He diagnosed the problem and needed to search for the part from an obscure manufacturer. He ordered the part and brought it in to place it within about 2 weeks. He didn't have the right tool to screw it in, and went right to his shop and actually created the tool he needed. He was done with the repair in less than 2 hours. The company kept me informed through this whole process and even called me each time that John was on his way here. John was very professional, helpful, and had a great positive attitude. He was not only good at his work, he was pleasant. Great customer service. I would recommend Zimmerman plumbing to anyone. The price was reasonable, also.

Quoted under $200 for the job (labor alone was over $400) and ended up charging over $600 total with parts. Told us we would get credit for the first trip out to inspect and quote the job, but none was accounted for on the final bill. The 'technician' did a good job, but we did not expect to pay triple what we were originally estimated. Would not call them again due to dishonest estimates.

Great customer service. I'm not easily impressed but was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism. I will continue to do business with this company.
