Before ownership changed the staff were great and they appreciated loyalty. I spend anywhere from $150 to $300 a month and it was the only place we went to for fish our 2 dogs and a bearded dragon. I have given the pet shop numerous baby fish which they have sold to make money but when I brought back 2 guppies that died the night I got them a total of $8 they would not give me new fish without testing my water when I brought them water last time to have them tell me they onl test if we want it as it takes too much time!!! We will be taking our business to Calgary trail petsmart as at least they appreciate our business 🤪

Nobody was in the store except my son and I. We waited for 10 minutes for service to get fish, then we went to the front where 3 staff were visiting and they informed me someone went to the back. We went to the back and she was hiding in the back room and finally after 10 minutes emerged just to tell us that the setup for the fish we wanted wasn’t proper for the fish when we did our homework and it was fine. It was obvious that she didn’t want to do her job. Very poor service, would never go back again.

If your dog did not accept some dry food you can not bring it back to the store! Their return policy implies you can return only unused food !!! How can I understand is it good for my dog if I can not open a bag of food ??? A terrible service! I used to buy a lot of goods in this store! But .... They lost me as a customer.

It appears that this place has a smaller selection but somehow they have items that larger places don't have. Plus a nice rewards incentive for pet food.
