Visiting from Toronto, I am so happy we stopped in here for lunch. The place was nice and bright, as well as very clean. The staff were so friendly, and work really fast. Their service was super. The food was just as good, and for the price, even better! The onion rings are so good and the portion size is massive. Highly recommend!
Had the cheese burger, fries and onion rings. The burger was tasty. The family fries are huge but could have been a bit crispier. The onions rings were excellent with a nice batter. Prices are reasonable. The store is clean but there was no soap in the washroom.
Amazing burger joint! The fries are fresh, they don't start frying them until you order. Burger was good and cheesy. I grabbed the onion rings just to try them out. I like big thick onion rings, these are thinner, but every one is an actual onion. Nothing fake about these. I'm a big eater and I got the triple and regular fries, prefect. They have fresh peach juice and lemonade. These places are very few and far between.
Burgers are pre made and sitting in a vat of mystery sauce. Buns are the finest wonder bread has to offer. Toppings are scant. If you love generic cheese slices, this burger is right up your alley. One bite into this tasteless abomination and you'll be puzzled why this place exists. What a waist of the earth's resources. $9 for a burger with no fries or drink $6 for a shake made with the finest artificial flavours $5 for small fries. Plenty of free parking though.
I really love their poutines but unfortunately, I no longer will be visiting this location. This past September, I purchased a poutine & drove home to find a piece of a cheese curd wrapper. After contacting a representative via email they apologized & offered to replace the poutine which I just let it slide & only accepted the apology. I’m pretty easy going & fully understand accidents happen. Fast forward to today- first time back since September & after my kids & I ate some of this poutine, I discovered a blue piece of wood or plastic in the melted cheese curds. I can understand maybe one whoops but twice?
I wanted to take my husband to Peter's Drive-in as I had been there quite a number of years ago as the burgers were so good. Unfortunately, we were rather disappointed in the quality of the food. My husband had ordered a small drink but we were charged for and were given small fries. We didn't say anything, and the fries were good. Portion sizes are huge. Milk shakes are big and taste pretty good. We had chocolate. The inside is spacious, lots of tables and chairs. Prices are pretty reasonable. Parking: Awkward parking lot design.
Come here mostly for the milkshakes. You can combine up to three flavours to make upwards of 4500 combinations of flavours. These are proper thick ice cream milk shakes. The burger was decent too. Fries were disappointing. I think they could be improved if they were cut thicker. Overall, it’s one of the better fast food establishments.
Shakes were outstanding. Thick enough to cave your head in. Fries were good and portions were generous. Burgers were lackluster. One and a half patties was “interesting“. I suspect they perhaps had supply chain issues. At least I hope that was the reason. Still, flavor reminded me of an average arena burger. I’ll be back for the shakes though.
The burger was very moist and very little flavour. Fries were very plentiful but not as tasty as memorable trips in the past to go skiing. Fast service, but I will not repeat as the burger baron has much better options. My opinion.
We stopped for a bite on our way back to Calgary. The burgers were really not up to standard, we had double cheeseburgers, the taste wasn't great, it was under seasoned, seemed over processed, the buns were soggy and overall I'll probably never buy food there again, it's definitely a waste of money and a horrible assault on the tastebuds. The milkshakes however saved the day! They were absolutely delicious! Thick and creamy and definitely a win. We decided to grab milkshakes at the last minute and boy am I glad we did.
