One of the scales that weigh the items is broken and it shows the weight of the items more than twice and they charge the buyers a lot. This is not the problem of the cashiers, but the problem of the store's scales, and Mr. Mahmoud knows about this problem. But he doesn't take care of it and many times I went to the store or saw with my own eyes that they don't behave well with the cashiers at all.
It would be nice to help people who are lined up at the cash area, instead of employees talking among themselves about personal matters or how hungry they are or etc.nWe had to stand in the line of one cashier while the one next to her turned her back to the line up and started talking to another employee. Some people get to drop in from work for half an hour for quick shopping and have lives outside of the store, and could be in a rush.nnAlso, although the quality of fruits and vegetables are not always the best but in terms of prices, the store seems to compete with the other stores; although always busy, it would be a good idea to add at least a few more shopping baskets at least for customer appreciation.
I was there today earlier and had tried to buy a bunch of groceries and went up to the counter to pay for my stuff.nnI didn't realize that the only bill I had a little tiny rip in it.. not even torn or 50% damaged or anything which would be acceptable for decline.nnI gave the cashier who was very rude the bill who she gave to another cashier to take to the manager.. and for some reason they would not accept my money..nnThe cashier was very very rude giving me dirty looks and trying to instigate a fight by threatening me with the law for no reason.nnI think at the end of the day this store is racist towards white people. I won't be shopping there again. There was NO reason for them not accepting my money .
This is one of the worst Persian stores in all of Vancouver! We bought cucumber pickles and tried to exchange them for another product, but the manager of this store refused to accept the exchange. However, another Persian store on Marine Drive accepted the exchange without any issues. This is so frustrating! I absolutely do not recommend shopping at this store with its terrible manager. This behavior is illegal and an insult to the customer.
An awesome persian chain supermarket group; It is good that you can find persian items there easily. A very good place to see other persian people and if you’re lucky you may see an old friend.nEven you can find some nostalgic items which reminds you some memories from your past time in your hometown.
