The owner was involved every step of the way throughout our dining experience and our server Dino delivered his service with passion and excellence! It’s left us with a memorable outing! This is our go to for authentic, flavourful, Mexican meals. Each bite is so good! Seasonal margarita drinks are highly recommended here too! The atmosphere is cozy and warm. Staff are incredible. A 5 star restaurant for sure! And if you are looking for a fun patio restaurant in the warmer months - this is the place!

Delicious food. Hands down the best Mexican food I've had. Had the lamb tacos which were divine. The home made hot sauce was very tasty and I had to get a second helping of it. The Margarita were also so good. I had a freshly squeezed guava juice one and finished it fast. The place is well decorated and had a good layout. We were their at sunset and the sunlight done come right into the restaurant, good for sunsets, not so good if you're at the table where it shines into your eyes, I suggest they get some blinds. but sunset is over quickly, so don't worry about it; the food is worth it. Very well staffed place, always felt looked after.

Just had a nice lunch on the patio and everything tasted amazing. Service was outstanding. We tried the feature strawberry salad which was really great. We also tried the pork and steak tacos and the flavour were outstanding. Try this place. Honestly the best tacos I have had. We will be coming back. Loved it!

I really like the atmosphere here. It is a nice restaurant for family and friends , the service is good too. We ordered different tacos,pork one is winner. Chicken taco is not tasty, fish taco and beef taco did not exceed my expectations ;The daily tomato soup is spicy and sweet, not recommended.

Been on my radar for a while and didn't disappoint! Best guac I've had, the sweet potato fries are uniquely amazing, and how do they make the aioli so fluffy??? Everyone was blown away by the food, and the margaritas are superb. Certainly the best Mexican restaurant within 30km, maybe even more. And not to mention our server was incredibly helpful and nice.

Great food and awesome service. We reached around 04pm at the restaurant and even though they had the tables reserved for a party at 06pm, the team accommodated us and welcomed warmly. Friendly staffs and amazing food make this restaurant a special one. Highly recommend this place.

This place was amazing! I came as some friends recommended it, and they were right, the food is DELICIOUS! We had barbacoa and cochinita tacos, and their tres leches cake; if I could, I would have eaten more. The tacos are well served, they are big in size and I think one order is enough per person. Their margaritas are also delicious.

Amazing food and great family atmosphere. The two owners are amazing funny and friendly people. Highly recommend the chorizo fundido and lamb barbacoa tacos. P. S. Don't skip the desert here it's an amazing finish to an all around fantastic dining experience. 11/10 will return.

Pepe and Lela’s Eatery is definitely the best places for Mexican food in the hamilton/Burlington/Oakville/Niagara area. In reference to service it is definitely the best hands down. The service at other places similar to this is not even close. The restaurant is very clean and there is plenty of individuals who are working there in a positive environment. The washrooms are also very clean. The food is fantastic. The Ontario lamb tacos were my personal favourite. The fish was the most popular at the table and was a close first. The steak was excellent and cooked perfectly to medium rare. The guacamole, chips and salsa had a delicious fresh taste to them. They do have a habanero sauce you can get on the side, definitely worth trying and is house made. Some feedback. We found the guacamole I bit sour due to the amount of lime we are guessing. The steak needed more seasoning. The tacos are awesome but you get three of the same. I’d love to pick and choose. I was lucky we ordered three plates of different tacos to try. You would think it’s not enough food but these things are packed and you’ll be full. There is another level where the exceed expectations. They fully understand Gluten Free. They go beyond that fully understand Celiac disease. This to me is just above any other restaurant I have reviewed today Sept 17, 2022. No one has come close to this where I didn’t have to explain a thing. To me a well informed staff is exactly what you want to see. People who care about the menu, understand people and want to deliver a great product. They also come see you multiple times despite being busy and with a smile. Dress nicer here. I will say that it’s not like some other taco joints as it’s definitely finer. Not that you’ll be turned away. Parking is at the back. Don’t order right away either. Let your server come and you’ll be introduced to a really awesome appetizer and entree not on the menu. We ordered right away app but I wish I waited. I wasn’t able to take all the photos but I hope this is enough. Enjoy your time here.
