Pembroke Big Stop Restaurant

We got the fish and chips and the seafood platter, check the photos. The fish was actually really good, not the typical fish and chips. It was kind of an improvement. It was an improvement for sure. The fries might as well be from McCain and the rest of the seafood platter was ok. Im not expecting Red Lobster hence the 4**** since it’s gas station restaurant. All that being said we are gonna go back tomorrow for breakfast and maybe lunch since we are from out of town. The pies look amazing. Find other review -1* for no forks or knife in bag.

Fast. Clean. Big Crunch chicken sandwich was perfectly breaded and deep fried. Incredibly good. And the sauce is excellent. Two eyebrows up on this sandwich!! So glad we stopped on our travel and will stop again if back near here

Decided to take advantage of the All You Can Eat Fish and Chips Fridays for something different after not going to the Big Stop for several years. Resturant has been refreshed and food was great. Hannah was our server and she was awesome - two thumbs up! Glad we made the trip.Food: 5/5

This place saved us. We lost power for a few days and we came here to use the trucker showers. They were super clean, super warm, and the staff were really kind! Our waitress Ashley on the restaurant side was just lovely!

Went out for dinner with my mom and decided to go to the Big Stop, I had the Bacon Mac n Cheese and it was pretty good the only thing was in the picture it showed nice bacon on top of the Mac n Cheese and when I got my food it was more just bread crumbles but still tasted good. I also recommend the milkshakes.

Stopped here late afternoon for something to eat. Decided on the traditional breakfast. It was great and the waitress was very friendly and quick. Would definitely go back again.Food: 5/5

Affectionately know as Irvings, this is a must visit anytime I'm in the area. Great food and great service. The parking lot is massive with tons of pull thru parking spots. The bathrooms are probably the cleanest on the planet. The prices are very reasonable. Kid-friendliness: The kids menu is reasonably prices and all things your average little one will enjoy. Parking: Tons and tons of parking with lots of pull thru spots.
