Fantastic flavors here! Truly a great addition to the area. Honestly a pleasure to eat. The beef kebab is just insanely flavorful.nnEdit: Came back a year or so later and it's still amazing!!!

Our favorite place to go for Friday Night take out. Tonight I opted for some recommendation that came together beautifully. So much food I'll have lunch tomorrow. Psst!! Fries with the garlic paste are amazing! People are pretty terrific too. :

My mom loves this place and took us for lunch. It was fantastic. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, food was spectacular and the prices were great! Easy to recommend.

Phenomenal food here at this location, it's fresh, home made and the overall environment is so positive. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant the chef's were ready to provide recommendations and patiently described their top menu items. The ingredients in the shawarma platter were very good, very yummy flavors which include the sauce, chicken and other vegetables. The potatoes and garlic sauce were also a hit. It's nice to see such a wonderful hidden gem in the Petawawa area, and even better to see how they go out of their way to provide such a high level of customer service. If I'm ever back in the area, I will be sure to drop by here again!

I've been visiting Madameek since they opened almost 10 years ago. At first they were just 'OK', and I would get it to hold me over until the next time I was in Ottawa. But over the years they have really worked hard to perfect their recipes and practices, and I think Madameek rivals the best Ottawa has to offer Looking at you, Shawarma Palace, which likely puts them in the running for best shawarma worldwide.
