Most coffee places other than Starbucks are closed until 9am. This place was packed just after 8am when we arrived. I was surprised how reasonably priced the coffees and muffin we had. I guess that's why it's so busy early morning? Other coffee places can learn something here.Food: 4/5
Great food and the sweetest people ever : I ordered the soup + half sandwich combo last time on uber but unfortunately only received the soup. This time when I ordered it again they left a sweet note and even gave me a full sandwich which made my whole day. The whole combo was delicious and their hot drinks are fantastic too.
Possibly the best scone I’ve ever had. And hot chai latte after a walk on a snowy day, perfection. Such pleasant atmosphere and very obliging.

I’ve visited three times, I ordered Caffe latte, Chai tea latte, London fog, a sweet apple & berry crumble dessert, raspberry cheesecake. They really nailed the London Fog, the vanilla syrup is on point. The cheesecake was very creamy but light and not too overpowering or rich. Tastes like home fall season and savory foods like paninis and sandwiches are crisp and fresh, not too hard to eat! Pelican rouge offers alternative milks including soy, oat, and almond which I enjoy from time to time to change up the tastes : The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the cashier staff were quite friendly and the price is fair.

After years of looking for a cozy quaint little coffee spot I stumbled upon this unassuming cafe in the TD plaza on 16th on the White Rock Surrey border. Hardwood floors, eclectic local artwork on the walls, smell of cookies right out of the oven, news papers to read, clean bathrooms AND excellent coffee concoctions. The two co-owners will make you feel welcome and mix your coffee fare efficiently. They're open early at 6:30am M-F Sat 7, have live music on Saturday night and a first for a coffee spot….. have a liquor license. Most pastries made onsite. Wheelchair accessible. You'll feel right at home here.

Excellent place. Very friendly service. Love the decor. Only had a BLT and coffee, but it was delicious. Good community vibe of regular customers.
