Decided to try this place for the first time and it was pretty good overall. Good service and tasty food made for a nice experience. My only complaint is that the dishes are kinda small for the $15 average price tag per plate which adds up after you order a few. Fan favourites were the Chicken in Black Bean Sauce, Sweet and Sour Pork and the Minced Pork with Eggplant in a hot pot was really good too. Dim sum was good and the Shrimp rolls were really tasty
Our go to neighborhood Chinese restaurant. It’s a great family restaurant. We love the staff there, they are very friendly. They have great bbq pork and duck. Food was great and fresh. We ordered their traditional dishes and we loved it. Better than a lot of other Chinese restaurants.
Good service, great staff. Food came out quickly and was pretty good. Some dim sum items were a bit on the pricier side when compared to its portion size. Overall an enjoyable experience. Would visit again.Food: 4/5
We were looking for some authentic Cantonese food in the area and came across Peak Top Cuisine as the most authentic looking place in the near vicinity. We were the only table when we first arrived on a weekday evening but it soon filled up with more tables as the evening went on. For anyone who remembers a Markham FMP restaurant with the same name from 10+ years ago, this is the same family that ran that restaurant. We got a sweet and sour pork, braised tofu with broccoli, beef brisket with daikon and deep fried pork intestines. The food was pretty good with proper flavours and decent portion sizes. The sweet and sour pork was a touch over fried for my taste and I would have preferred the daikon in the brisket casserole to be cooked a bit more tender. The staff are friendly and efficient.
Some good food at a decent price. The dim sum was nice but the dipping sauces weren’t as tradition as I would have hoped. Would have like to seen some chilli oil and Ching ang vinegar. The roasted pork and Char Sui bbq pork were decent, meat a little bit tough on the bbq pork but still pretty good. Good experience with some minor stuff that could be improved.
Came for the dim sum on a Saturday afternoon and was surprised about the quality and the selection offered here. For a Dim Sun Restaurant that’s outside an area populated by dim sum eateries, the quality of the food served here at reasonable prices is commendable, although not the best or exceptional like some eateries in Markham/Richmond Hill. Nevertheless, I liked their sweet buns, har gao steamed shrimp dumplings and shrimp rice noodle rolls. As a pescatarian and a seafood lover, my options were no way limited with their huge seafood spread. If I am craving dim sum and I am in the area of Woodbridge/Maple/Vaughan, I know that Peaktop is an option that will not disappoint me. With a total bill of $33, 2 of us had a complete dim sum meal which is considered reasonable by today’s inflationary standards.
Excellent service despite some of the previous reviews. All the dim sum dishes were fantastic. Next time I will try their BBQ.
We ordered dimsum and enjoyed the shrimp with eggplant. The chicken balls was dry and mostly breading. We also had the following: hot & sour soup, pork black bean sauce, hargao, bbq pork bun, tripe, squid tentacles and veggie fried rice. The staff were alright. The interior decorations of the place was alright. Relative to other dimsum restaurants, the taste of some of the dishes doesn't seem to meet the expectations. I feel the price point is on the above average side compared to other driveable dimsum places. We ordered less and actually paid more than another comparable place.
Came here on a Saturday and there was only one other family eating. We were craving dimsum so decided to try it out. Prices are fair and they were quite fast with our order. They were very helpful as well, our server would come by often to fill our cups or remove empty dishes. The ambience/decor is quite outdated but not a huge issue. I'd recommend this if you're in the area and craving some dimsum
This place is pretty decently priced. It ain't cheap, but it ain't exactly pricey either. The food was pretty good and was hot when it reached my table. Our table was cleared of dishes frequently and the staff was quick to refill our tea. The food has very generous portions when it comes to specific dishes. Definitely coming back.
