Payless Car

Rental Car just like the name Payless. Great new location in the lobby of a great hotel which is quite upgrade from their previous location. I compared prices from a few competitors sites and saw Payless prices beat others a few times. I had received a great vehicle for unbeatable price and unlimited mileage. The biggest thing I appreciated is the rules were straight forward no cheating fine lines to get scammed by. I would recommend this all the way

I really satisfy with Payless service and the car I got which is the best I have experienced. They are all welcome and nice. Customers should know that the shuttle is from the hotel-Crowne Plaza, so they have the time schedule.

I had a great experience renting with Payless. I got a good rate and the staff were super friendly. I unfortunately damaged my rental car on the way to drop it off, and that incident was handled very well - I was very disturbed myself and the way the staff responded was very helpful. One thing that should be attended to was that the phone at the Viscount station (part of the airport train loop), (where you are supposed to call for the Payless shuttle), was damaged and not working. Normally this wouldn't be a problem... but my cell phone wasn't working either.

Short review: Terrible. Long: Booked through Priceline about a month before the rental dates, wasn’t informed anywhere that it’s actually an off airport location that’s 7-8 minutes drive away. No directions from both Priceline and car rental on how to get there but we managed to ask around. Waited for them to come pick us up for about half an hour, gave us a dirty car. When we requested for a clean car, they told us to wait for 5 minutes which turned into a 20 minute wait, when in actual fact, they went to have the car washed. It was almost an hour before we could finally leave with a car. Both guys we dealed with were unfriendly and seemed rather annoyed. Overall the service was just very unprofessional and inefficient. Only good thing was the great car we got.

I don't normally write reviews but I hated this. Not even at YYZ airport which wasnt indicated during rental. The only reason I gave it two stars is because I like the car I got. They even charge you 20 dollars for dropping the car after hours - how does that create a cost for them? Fail.
