Patrick's Bakery & Cafe

An awesome selection of bakery items that are by far one of the best in the Minneapolis metro area. The food or lunch menu is good, however, can be better. If you’re looking for something sweet, this is your to go place. Tiramisu and the French cake are one of the best. Not fond of the quiche or other other things they offer.

I have had a number of pleasant experiences at this restaurant, and have also ordered catering for work events on a number of occasions. Our last 3 visits, however, have prompted me to leave a 2 Star review. On two previous occasions, a member of staff was outwardly angry and rude towards us to the point of yelling. I wrote this off as an issue with that particular staff member and not as a reflection of the restaurant as a whole. On our visit today (which will likely be our last at this point) we spent 10 minutes trying to place our order with a staff member. We would state our order, she would read back a completely wrong order, we would correct her and repeat our correct order, and repeat. When we finally received our food, every plate was wrong and contained wrong ingredients (we ordered made to order omelettes). When the food arrived at our table and was wrong, we didn’t receive even the smallest apology but instead were made to feel as if we did something wrong asking that our dishes be corrected. Let me be clear, this restaurant has great food. That great food, however, does not make up for these issues.

That’s really nice place, tasty desserts. But today they have given me the wrong cake instead of ordered one what I found only at home. My daughter was soooo disappointed because she patiently waited for her special cake she had chosen by herself.

Not that great. Some things are okay. But it was all pretty bland. Food all Looks very pretty though.

Went there tonight for cakes and pastries only. I felt unwelcome and rushed. It seemed as the attendant had more important things to do than tae care of customers. I go way out of my way to go there. I go often and like their food, but this experience will make me think twice. Got to train your customer facing staff a little better, this one was a bit rude.
