Patrick Morin

Was shopping for a Snow Peeler and Patrick Morin appears as the only distributor on the polarmade.ca website. This also gave me my first opportunity to try this store. Fairly well layed out, small carriages for these warehouse style hardware stores where you usually pick up larger items. The Snow Peeler was in stock. In fact they were the only Patrick Morin location that showed more than 1 on the website. This proved to be promising. Out of the 3 boxes in store, 3 had been opened so I opted for the least damaged looking one. This is a $180 roof shovel so I should have suspected that most consumers are dishonest (and cheap) enough to simply clear their roof and return the product for a reimbursement once the job is done (explaining the 3 open boxes). When I got home to assemble the lot, 4 bolts were missing. These bolts are worth .25 cents each therefore I will simply pick them up at a West Island hardware store instead of senselesly arguing with a clerk at the store. Word of advise for the store, if you are taking the trouble to repack a $180 shovel, take the time to count the hardware for the next consumer who is picking up used goods.

Great price, great staff (helpful, competent), nice selection of products. When on sales, price are unbeatable!

Le personnel connait très bien leurs produits et ils sont en mesure de vous fournir de très bons conseils. Ils offrent plusieurs produits que l'on ne retrouve pas dans les autres grandes chaines et leurs prix sont généralement très compétitifs. Par contre, certains matériaux sont offerts dans une sélection limités et nous devons souvent compléter nos achats dans d'autres commerces.

Bonne petite quincaillerie très joviale, pratique, avec des employés qualifiés. La cour à bois offre un service efficace et des produits très convenables. Ma seule critique serait l’absence de grandes marques et le stock limité qui ne ressemble pas aux autres magasins.

Stock sur le site web inexact ! Perd mon temps pour me déplacer à ce magasin le commis cherche partout pendant plus 30 min sans jamais trouver l'article dont la quantité était a 3, donc grosse perte de temps pour tout le monde ! Pour avoir expérimenté le service de matériaux, très long a se faire servir la majorité du temps, aussi long pour l'attente dans la cour a bois, finalement ca prend pas loin d'une heure pour aller chercher quelques 2x4 ou autre. Vivement Reno dépôt, home dépôt et autres. Dommage pour une compagnie québécoise.
