Pasquale's Neighborhood Pizzeria

If you want great food and friendly service, go here! The signature New York style round and Sicilian style square are fantastic. I also love the sausage Stromboli with sauce. Pasquale's Neighborhood Pizzeria is a wonderful experience. You must try this place!

Great place to catch lunch if you're downtown, although it can get crowded and busy at times ... but for good reasons! Apparently word is getting around about this restaurant. Friendly smiling staff, good service, yummy food, plus the classic Italian-American sayings like "How YOU Doin'?" and "The Real Deal" on the backs of their uniform shirts always add a bit of fun. Today I came in for lunch and they were expecting me, since I once mentioned to them that I'm usually downtown on Tuesdays. Being greeted with a smile and a "There you are, good to see ya!" made my day. Menu-wise, I need to try more of their offerings, but I just love their Sicilian pizza with its wonderful thick crust so much that I keep coming back to it! It's even better than the thick crust pizza I used to get at Waldo's in the 1990s -- much crispier, and served hot. Their desserts are great, too. I love, love, LOVE their tiramisu, which is as good as Olive Garden's or better! As for the New York style pizza, it's pretty good. I'm not normally a fan of thin crust pizzas like New York style (I'm a Chicago deep-dish person), but these guys make sure the slices are served hot and crispy, not room-temperature and soggy. One of the guys working at their Thursdays on First booth told me, "We don't serve soggy pizza. Ever." He wasn't kidding. They will always heat up your slice of pizza to crisp and hot, which takes extra time but in my view is worth it. Now if only they would serve some Sicilian pizza and a few of their desserts at Thursdays on First, they would be perfect.

If you dont want to fly 1,136.4 miles to NYC for a good pizza come here cause is freaking awesome. And the place is really cool. Cannolis here are as good as the ones in New Jersey! You can buy the whole pie or just the slice. Love the place check it out I bet you will love it 2!

First time eating here and my pizza is delicious to the point I want more than my stomach can handle. Love that they use fresh and the atmosphere is beautiful. Moms first time to and she loves the Stromboli as well

The locals love "pass-KWAH-lees" and as we walked with our pizza, plenty of them congratulated us on our choice. We called ahead to order a large pizza and it was just about ready when we arrived about 15 minutes later. We ordered to go, but next time I'd like to eat at the restaurant--it feels modern and clean and the patio out front even managed to feel upscale. Great food, love the samples of gelato and sorbet we were offered, and every staff member we talked to was friendly and helpful. This will be on my list next time we're in Rochester!
