You can put “Manoir de la Vallée” in your gps to find the trail. I parked behind the trail and walked over. I brought good crampons for the trail walk since the snow was hard and crunchy, but you can bring snowshoes when the snow is fluffier. Lovely park. You will also find a skating trail which looked well maintained. I will go back to skate.
This place is great for families and teens. There's a water park summer time a nice skating trail it's really amazing night time. There's skatepark well maintained. A soccer field. Basketball court. All that surrounded by nature. Welcome to St-Sauveur!
Amazing place You can walk with your dog, there are games along the way for children and secret shortcut paths plus benches which is great for disabled people like me. You can just walk as much as you like, there is always a quick way out.
Skate park review* Park has potential and some obstacles are really fun but the flow is way off and ground is most asphalt which hurts like crazy to fall on,rideable but not great..heard there was a renovation planned but I don't know what's happening with that‍
Found this place while searching online for skating trails. Now that I know this place exsists I will come regularly. Closest skating trail to Montreal and the ice conditions are impeccable! They also have 3 skating rinks where you can skate or play hockey, even organized games. There's a chalet with public washrooms. They also provide skating-bar/assist for inexperienced skaters. Open 10-10, most of the trails have lights for night skating. Longest trail is just under 1kms. The only thing missing would be a snack/hot-dog stand.
Loved skating the zamboni groomed trail through the woods. They have adult and child assist bars that people with no skating skills can use to keep from falling while keeping up with the experienced skaters. Fun! As a tourist I couldn’t skate until after 3 but that was just fine. Still lots of daylight left. No skate rentals here.
It's one of the best skating Rinks in the nearby Montreal Region and it has many wild skating trails and a wide open area for solo skaters. I visited this place from Montreal for the 5th time. Amazing experience with the views of Laurentians. And it's a really nice dreamy city too. must visit to enjoy a day in this city with friends and family
Skating through the woods in winter is lots of fun. There are 3 hockey rinks to suit any level. Walkers are available and the chalet is roomy.
Tourists not welcome until after 2 ... We've been coming here for 10 years to play hockey and skate on family day weekend, but now no longer allowed as tourists. This year we were disappointed to find out that the city and residents have decided to only allow local residents to use the ice between 9 and 2 pm before opening it to the rest of us spending our thousands of dollars every year in this beautiful tourist city. They even asked for ID... it leaves a bad taste. Two classes of citizens... hope they don't forget the importance of tourists to this economy. Our plan was to skate in the morning then go for breakfast at the local vegan restaurant before heading back home. Instead, we decided to leave and eat lunch on the road in Ontario. I hope they rethink this policy.
Small but cute
