The atmosphere of Par4 Kitchen & Bar was very impressive. The design features beautiful wood accents, mood lighting, and a thoughtful layout that makes the space feel warm and inviting. It’s clear a lot of effort went into creating a unique and appealing environment.nnThe food was good - nothing extraordinary, but it wasn’t disappointing either. A solid offering that met expectations.nnUnfortunately, the service left much to be desired, especially given the unique nature of the establishment. The staff struggled to assist with setting up the golf simulator, which is a core part of the experience here. We had to interact with three different people, none of whom could resolve any of our issues, until we ultimately gave up. Even the person who seemed to be in charge didn’t appear knowledgeable about basic simulator functionality e.g., what “best ball” mode is or how to set it up. This was frustrating and detracted from our overall experience on top of eating up a large amount of time we still had to pay for.nnAdditionally, the placement of the bar directly behind the simulator’s green felt poorly planned. A member of our group ended up hitting the bar with a driver, despite proper ball placement, which could have been avoided with better spacing or design. If you visit, I highly recommend bringing your own clubs for a more comfortable experience, as the ones provided didn’t meet expectations.nnThe state of the bathroom was also disappointing - an overflowing urinal and unpleasant smell shouldn’t happen at a place aiming for this level of polish.nnThat said, maybe it was an off day. Given other positive reviews I’ve seen, this experience could have been a one-off or something out of the ordinary. For those in my group who had never tried a golf simulator before, it was still a fun, novel activity. However, as someone who frequents golf simulator facilities regularly, my expectations may have been too high after seeing the beautiful design of the establishment.nnThis place has great potential, particularly for group events or parties, but it needs better oversight and attention to detail. Service and staff training, especially around the simulators, are areas that require significant improvement. If those issues were addressed, this review would have been much different. For now, it’s a decent option with room to grow.

Recently visited PAR 4 Kitchen and Bar at noon with a group of friends. We went to check out the spot and have some fun, and we were not disappointed. The highlight of our visit was definitely the golf simulator – we had a blast trying out soccer and football, too! It’s such a unique and fun way to hang out with friends.nnThe space itself is fantastic – spacious and perfect for group events or just a casual hangout. The food was also great, with a nice variety on the menu. Whether you're there for a game night or just a meal, PAR 4 Kitchen and Bar is worth checking out!

We loved this place! Wish it was on Vancouver Island!! So much fun. Great tasty food just like the adverts said and drinks were well done with plenty of alcohol and non alcoholic options. We booked this place for our friends 15th anniversary! The staff did some fun extra things to make it special. The golf simulator was great entertainment and was our favorite. There was plenty of golf clubs for right and left hand too. We will be back!

Probably one of my new favourite spots. Staff and managers are super friendly, the decor is warm and modern, and they have golf simulators at the back that you can rent by the hour.nnTheir house lager is delicious and fairly priced. The food is absolutely amazing and well presented. The brisket in their poutine is on point and the 9 iron chicken skewers I could eat all day. I would recommend this place to anyone and I can’t wait to come back again. 5/5 across the board!
