Papa's Cafe

Not sure I want to give them a review as they are kind of a hidden gem in my neighborhood and I'm not sure I want people to know about them. Good service, great food and never too busy. This is one of the few family owned cafe's around that have not turned into hipster central. Real people eat here, and the food is very good!

I stopped by Papa's Cafe on a Saturday morning for my brother's birthday breakfast. Despite them being extremely busy they were able to seat a 6 top very quickly. The waitress was extremely cheerful and helpful. She accommodated to all our needs and the food was scrump-diddly-umpcious. First time I had in there. If somebody asked me I would most definitely recommend this place to anybody. They didn't even mind that my niece was a little rambunctious and periodically was throwing food around the restaurant. They just graciously picked up the food and smiled. Their hospitality was greatly appreciated. In return they got a spectacular tip. But my tip to you is go there, eat there, poop there if you need to.

This is our favorite place in the world for breakfast. But, the only negative is that back room. We don't sit and that icky back room. The food is always great, and so is the service. We've been going there for seven years, and I can honestly say we never had a bad visit.

The only thing to be careful of is I think they are cash only. Otherwise they serve some wonderful wonderful breakfast although the biscuits and gravy are only on weekends.
