We called ahead because we had a group of 15 and they were very accommodating! Their decor is all miss matched and it has a very homey feel to the atmosphere. They had wonderful food! I was impressed by the portion size. It wasn't an enormous portion like at some restaurants. The food came out hot and for every meal ordered which is some feat with a table of 15. I also want to give a shout out to the great waitress's! They split the checks perfectly with no issues and we're even willing to take a picture of our group! I would definitely go there again!

With how high the review ratings were, I expected a lot more from the place. We ordered the hot turkey and the meatloaf sandwiches, that come with mashed potatoes. We also ordered cold brew coffee. The coffee by far was the best part of the meal. My meatloaf sandwich was dry and chewy, kind of spicy in a way that didn't match the gravy flavor and it was shaped like a round patty and didn't actually fit on the piece of bread that it sat on, the portion sizes were not as big as the other reviewers led me to believe. I guess if you're a fatty like me, you might not be satisfied. (I wasn't.) I was still hungry after eating the full plate, so it is not enough to share with another person (if you're the type that shares an entree. The vegetable was broccolini and it was covered in large chunks of garlic, which has definitely stayed with me all day. My husband said his was fine, but he wouldn't return. It was a little busy, but whenever the waitress popped in to check how we were doing, she'd vanish before we'd even finish answering. So, I don't know that we'd have gotten a chance to address any issues.

This place has a great breakfast menu with tons of options and good prices. Odd dish combinations but everything tastes great. From steak and eggs to French omelettes to waffles or special in house pancakes, their selection is large. Very popular spot, so call ahead but still expect to wait. They put you in the front when you call ahead, but they have still many people coming by, so you'll likely have to wait.

Huge place, funnily called good day cafe and bad day bar (made us like the place even before we stepped inside) Be warned that if you're using Google to navigate - it's a bit tricky since the roads it's on are dead ends and directions might not make thorough sense. Food was brilliant. The omelettes were fluffy, the almond mocha latte with coconut milk was amazing - something that we hadn't rated any where else. I also tried the crepes with cheese, sour cream and strawberry compote - simply because it was an odd combination, but the sweetness and saltines really balanced out and was terrific. Serving sizes are huge too, so unless you're very hungry or are okay with boxing the food up for home, better leave it for another time.

Here's the deal with Good Day Cafe - the nutshell executive summary is that it's average day Perkins food in a much nicer environment. I've been eating at Good Day a few times a year for years and years and honestly I'd say that it's going downhill. But people clearly love it because especially on weekends it is ALWAYS BONKERS BUSY and also just to be clear I'm sure I'll be back... Some food notes: - The BLOODIES are house made and aren't especially flavorful or fun. Pickle spear and papa johns pepper as accessories. - The EGG SANDWICH is always pretty good, though the side of potatoes can be clumsy. - The HASH comes with two eggs and some ketchup and looks as bad as it tastes. - The TOAST BASKET is a nice basket of toast though it used to be fun and cheap to order like 5 baskets and munch with coffee after eating a real meal but now it's priced way too high for that - Omelets are fine but again are often just sorta clumsy I get it, it's a nice vibe, it's a safe bet for kids and grandparents, it has big tables for groups and stuff. Just wish the execution matched the environment.
