We have been through the drive-through at Panda Express many times, but we were pleasantly surprised when we finally came inside to eat. Super nice atmosphere. Very clean. Friendly staff. Good food.
The food is ready fast! I am posting a picture of our take-out. The orange chicken and rangoons were really good and I would recommend either one. The chow mein noodles and fried rice were very dry. The chicken egg roll was just like one out of the freezer section at the grocery store.
This shouldn’t even be a 1 star review. Never going here again, such horrible experience with my food. I ordered half lo main and half rice and they decided to just trow a bunch of onions into the plate and no noodles?? How is that considered lo main. If you ran out just say something ‍
Rushing to take my order in drive-through..this is what I received for $8.00+. Only a spoonful on noodles on top. Never again will I order from this establishment..
I ordered the orange chicken and green bean chicken with fried rice. I bit into the orange chicken and it was brown spongy meat. I took it back to the counter and ask for the manager. I explained that it did not taste right. He told me it was dark meat and he could not give me a refund just because I did not like it. Employees were rude. I should have known when there was no one there not to order. The rice was cold and tasteless. It was literally white rice with a few peas and carrots. My green beans had a weird taste to them. Poor customer service and terrible food. Would not recommend wasting your time or money.
Not good.... got the super greens for the side. Yuck! The kale was yellow and some pieces looked dirty? Moldy? Basically a lot inedible kale stems. The portions are small... and I mean small. Ordered the new sesame honey chicken as one of my "entrees" and it came on the side box. 5 pieces of chicken and the rest was peppers and green beans. I don't think I've ever been to a panda express without having to wait for fresh because they were out. This was no exception. I had asked for an ice water.. didn't get it, and quite frankly by the time I received my food I totally forgot about it. Definitely not worth the wait or the price.
First time here I got the big plate with chow mein, 2 types of chicken an the steak. Lady gave me the 2 smallest micro bite size pieces of steak with mostly veggies but alot of chicken. Super stingy. Not a good first impression I don't think I will go back.
Not worth the price. You are basically paying for speed of service, but you’re probably going to get better food at any local Chinese place. The honey walnut shrimp was good, but the portion was small. The fried rice was dry and flavorless. The main taste that came through were the peas and carrot cubes that shout “low quality”. The chicken egg roll was also very disappointing. It lacked the crispness of traditional egg rolls and had way too much ginger. Not to mention, the fortune cookie even seemed underdone. Also, there’s no soy sauce available unless you request it. I honestly don’t understand how this chain has done so well. My best guess is that most of the proteins are deep fried and covered in an extra sugary sauce.
I kept hearing bad experiences about this location since I moved to Holland but finally decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. I 100% regret my decision. A friend offered to swing by and grab some food for me. She sat in front of the order speaker for 25 minutes because they told her she had to wait to order and the food she arrived at home with is so far from the usual quality. The proteins and fried rice were cold so why did she have to wait to order if they weren’t making fresh batches? and the chow mein was plain, sauceless, and undercooked. I have never seen anything served like this at Panda before. I couldn’t help but laugh at the food in front of me. I’ll just grab Panda when I’m Grand Rapids from now on.
everyone knows how small the portions are already. However this was brutally burned. Smallest portion I ever recieved as well, wouldnt even reach to the first lip of foam container. Update 11-14-22 : 4 pieces of honey walnut shrimp on a 3 entree and side order. Specifically asked for teriyaki sauce, always fails to get it, or it's gelatin thick, forgot utensils on the curbside pick up. Food still of good quality. Update 1-26-23 : I ordered then my family ordered. Once again asked for teriyaki sauce "yeah I got it anything else?". Forgets the sauce for all orders. I go inside and ask saying they forgot it after I asked. "Yeah idk what's going on back there but you have to ask for it, but here I'll give you one." Must be this location, special breed, if there ain't an Asian descent solo working a wok in the back it's probably not worth it.
