This park is our all time favorite. It is a smaller park but what it offers is huge. You are able to get beach front camping spots. You’re able to see the ocean from your site. If you don’t score one of those it’s a very short walk to the sand. There is a great inlet that you can swim and play in. There is a cute little coffee shop walking distance and also a little convenience store. This state park doesn’t have a playground and the wifi is pretty good.
I shouldn't share this, but this is my absolute favorite place to camp. Great location, beautiful beach, friendly people, safe and peaceful! No tree cover but I wasn't looking for a wooded spot. I just wanted to be right at the beach, which this is! Showers and bathrooms clean, fresh water and a quaint little town a quick walk away.
Hey! It’s the beach! You usually can’t go wrong at any beach, but the majority of beaches are cool… this one is still worth seeing. So… relax. Fly a kite, pick up stones, walk for miles, sip your flask, but just be safe and have fun!
This beach access is an easier route to take your car or non 4×4 vehicle on the beach to find a spot near the surf. There's always plenty of sand dollar's and shells to collect. It's free! And most importantly it's fricken beautiful. Generally tides out by 11am to noon!!
One of my favorite beach state parks. WiFi, close to the surf, MiniMart within walking distance, clean bathrooms, sweet. Best part was a severe thunderstorm overnight. Nice!
nice place, access to beach is great, no fire pits at sites but you can have them on the beach. pretty busy area at sunset but that's understandable.
Nice park geared towards RV campers, with direct access to the Pacific Ocean. Most of the beaches around Ocean City are drive-on. Showers on-site. Lovely ocean views with rolling grassy dunes. Olympic Otter
Beautiful beach to take a stroll on. Very popular razor clamming spot and surf perch fishing. The park has showers and bathrooms. The RV has plumbing and electrical services provided if you buy the pass to camp there. There’s a check in office towards the rear of the park. Park rangers often patrol the area. We had our WDFW Discovery pass, so we could just drive in, put the placard up and call it good. Lots of locals stroll around the beach and love making conversations. Great way to make new friends. Scenery is 100/10. Can’t beat Washington’s best nature show! Will definitely be coming here quite often. Very far drive from Renton but very well worth it
Quiet. Close sites with no division, but you're right next to the beach. No water, grills, or fire pits at sites. And . . . Showers not awesome. But. Again. It's literally right next to the beach. So. Location made this a four star rather than a 3.
A nice park with fairly easy beach access but not totally accessible access. Nice views and a wide beach with sand that is not too soft in most place. Public restroom and a fair amount of parking.
