Grayland Beach State Park

This park is located well off Hwy 101 on Hwy 105, but it is easy to find and located near a massive ocean beach. Driving is allowed on this beach, so you must be aware of traffic. The beach has a lot of packed sand, so it is great for walking and kite flying. Trail-heads back to the campgrounds are well marked but it is a long walk from camping to surf. We drove our motorhome to this beach and park there for the day to enjoy the view and kites. The campground is laid out in circles with properly angled spaces that are very easy to back into. Nearly every site has power & water, plus utility sites with sewer. You must buy tokens at the ranger station for the showers, so buy some on your way in. We use our own shower instead. The park is clean and well maintained with good trails. We did not see a playground or any interpretive programs.

Full hook-ups, and pretty good privacy. Loved 4-wheeling on the beach and there is an interesting light station/house nearby. Make reservations in advance, this campground is quite popular.

This is a nice and clean campground with easy access to the ocean. They even have hot showers available for a couple dollars. Be sure to call ahead to reserve a yurt if you need one, there are no same day reservations.

Clean park with semi-private camp spots. It's only a short walk to the beach and you can (usually) have camp fires here. My first pick for camping in the Grayland area!

A suburb campground! We stay here several times a year and have never been disappointed.
