My friends and I camped out here for two nights. Our campsite was situated next to the small stream that runs into the lake, and it provided some nice soothing white noise for me to sleep. The camp is relatively near to the road, ranger station, and the grocery store. Being able to walk to the store was great for us and the store clerk guy at the counter was really helpful. At night, it is really quiet even with the road nearby, and it is dark enough that you can see the milky way if you stand at the edge of the lake. Bathrooms are really clean too. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star is that the trash dumpsters aren't really made to keep bears out as some of the other parks I've been to. Apparently there was also bear sighting around the campsite some time before we arrived. Don't be stupid and leave food out. We sealed our trash and leftovers in our car and threw in a dumpster a little ways down the road rather than into the dumpsters at the camp.

Better than expected based on reading other reviews. Great location, great views, great walking paths that go through and around the site, and friendly fellow campers. Would've liked another set of bathrooms closer to the far site of the site.

Beautiful surroundings, clean restrooms, and available storage areas for food items.

The sites, except for the walk in sites 24-31 are awful. They are like a pullout on the side of the road and should only be used if in transition and nothing else is around. Sites 1-4 and 22 are the worst I have ever seen - ever. You need to check in at the Quinault Lodge. There is ice and wood on site for purchase. There was a bear siting on the campground a couple of days before we arrived. The dumpster was packed full of trash and no apparent pick ups. I gave it an extra starsince I was fortunate to stay at 1/7 good site (#31 and it was quiet and flanked by a river and lake access.

Very nice campground but you might want to call and confirm your reservation if you made it online, they had no record of mine and I fortunately had the receipt to show and they had not yet gave it away to someone else.
