Had the pleasure to take advantage of the three course 2022 dine out lunch menu. For $25 per person pp, we received a three course meal which started with a goat cheese salad appetizer also had a choice of a chef selection soup — which was coconut chicken that day, a main — three options available — salmon, short rib pasta and a vegetarian option which was a portobello mushroom burger — we selected the latter two. Both tasted great; albeit, the pasta was heavy as it was made with a cream sauce. We ended the meal with a slice of decadent chocolate cake. For a $25 pp price tag, it was good value, and worth the trip. Erin was our server, and she was both helpful and friendly. Location is conveniently located in Coal Harbour, and we also lucked out with a mountainous view that day! The restaurant wasn’t too busy, so noise was moderate and seating comfortable.
Disclaimer: The Executive Chef is a friend. Food here was amazing. Our menu was curated by the executive chef. Plating: 3.5/5 Flavour: 3.5/5 Environment: 3/5 Service: 3.5/5 To us, it was an above average hotel cafe/coffeehouse but maybe only because we were served a “special” menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the Sablefish which was paired with truly yummy Brussels Sprout. Worth visiting if you are round the corner. No fanfare; just really simple good food.
Really good ambiance. Reasonably priced menu. And happy hour wine is cheap. $6 for a 6 oz . But service is very dry, trying to crack a joke and just have a dry response fr the server. Sorry…
I came here on a busy Friday night. Had a wonderful 3 course meal with live music. I forgot to take a photo of the dessert, but it was decent as well.
Had a few meals here the food was good service was great. Happy hour wings and deep fried pickles were delicious.
Super delicious breakfast, we had a massive pancake stack with real Canadian maple syrup and the Cali Eggs Benny with lots of nice veggies added to the plate. Home fries delicious, servers nice and friendly, and the coffee comes zero waste so good for the environment. Pretty nice view of the mountains with some trees in front, patio is nice too. Thanks for a nice breakfast! :
We ordered Christmas dinner to go, and it was delicious! The food was all so tasty, especially the stuffing and creamy mashed potatoes. And the dessert was delicious! We appreciated the well-organized pick-up experience and will definitely order for a special family holiday meal in the future. Highly recommended!
Nice staff, very slow service. Food was a miss for us, was pretty bland overall and cold. The establishment has a nice atmosphere but probably wouldn’t return.
Too loud due to live music and we were seated at near by seats. First visit so I wasn't aware of their live music. Requested to make Food litter spicy but they made it extremely spicy which was very hard to eat. Our server hardly ever smiled and it seemed he was forced to work there. And very slow service. It took forever to bring our foods, refills, etc..
Interestingly, they have a happy hour menu all day everyday! Reasonable price, friendly server and great atmosphere. Located inside a hotel, so I could dine quietly.
