Oxford Suites Spokane Valley

First floor has a constant odor similar to an "electrical fire" but appears to be normal around here. Our room was clean with no lingering odors which was wonderful considering the proximity to the restaurant/lounge on the first floor. The hotel serves breakfast until ten. The earlier you get in the shorter the line. Each guest receives two drink vouchers for beer, wine, or a soda.

I didn’t have such a pleasant experience during my last week stay. At the oxford in Spokane Valley the front desk representative upon my arrival and stating I needed to check in to my reservation said “well..I’ll see if we have anything clean. Oh actually we do.” This isn’t a very welcoming statement. Furthermore, upon handing my company business credit card since I was on a business only trip he stated my company doesn’t allow me to use my card and he won’t allow me to use this card to charge anything to my room. Thankfully after this statement I didn’t plan on spending any more money at this hotel than I had to. Which was not accurate anyhow. Apart from this my sink and tub would never drain during use leaving both filled when washing my hands or taking a shower. This was not pleasant to deal with as I was constantly wiping down both every day after use and waiting for both to drain each time of use. A suggestion I would also have is to add dumbells to the gym area as only machinery were present.

This is a nice hotel but we probably won't stay here again. The rooms are nice and spacious. The room we checked into smelled strongly of smoke, we were able to change rooms with no hassle. The breakfast is ok. Probably a little below average for a hotel breakfast. Beds are a little too form for me. The biggest problem was the pool. I have young kids and the pool was too cold for them to enjoy.

Really great experience. The rooms were spacious and updated. Each guest in our party was given 2 drink tickets each, good for wine, beer, or soft drinks in the lounge. They offered a free soup and salad buffet in the evening for 2 hours. They also had a hot breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage, along with a number of other items. They also had an indoor pool and hot tub. Just great hotel for a very reasonable price. The girl at the front desk (don't know her name but we talked about ice cream) was really friendly and helpful.

Love this place . Not only do you get breakfast but soup and salad for dinner with drinks. The front desk people are wonderful an very helpful.
