Overlook Park

Great park with public restrooms, water fountains, and space that can be reserved for larger gatherings. There is also a nice off-leash area. No overnight camping allowed. Now being strictly enforced. Only drawback is limited parking.

Nice park to play with kids. Big soccer field or baseball. Has swings. Big oak trees and picnic tables. Good place to take kids . Very limited parking.

It’s not flat terrain given it’s on the edge of the hill. But the overlook is disappointing as the best view is of the very industrial train tracks.

Second or third favorite park in Portland and possibly the one with the best views Mt Tabor?. Nice park for dogs and they have a good off-leash area. Nice old stone pavilion and maybe the best tree in any park in Portland...I think it's an alder. They used to do the Organic Beer Fest here, but, sadly, it was discontinued around 2016.

Really great park, has a great playground. There's picnic areas, perfect to watch the sunset. There's an open area. The park ranger checks the area and closes up. I will definitely be going back.
