Outdoors Plus opened our doors in 1997 and have since then become your one stop shop for fishing & hunting needs!

Story

We pride ourselves in customer service! If you don't see it in our store, please ask, and we'll be sure to get it in for you! We also carry new Remington, Savage, Ruger, Marlin, & Boito Firearms. We can also provide you with all of your ammunition needs at a very competitive price.

We carry Shakespeare, Rapala, Pflueger, Okuma, & Ugly Stick Rods & Reels. We have a massive inventory of lures, plastics, spoons, & terminal tackle. We're also your reliable Live Bait Dealer, providing you with Chubs, Shiners, Worms, and within season, leeches.

We ave a fantastic selection of hunting, pocket, utility, and filet knives.

Not to mention, we also have MNR Licenses!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the hunting and fishing store in Haliburton and I have to say, it was an excellent experience. As someone who believes in supporting local businesses, it was refreshing to find a store that not only offers a great selection of products but also has a knowledgeable and friendly staff. The store itself is well-stocked with a variety of hunting and fishing gear, from rods and reels to ammunition and clothing. Great shop for fishing and hunting gear. Tons of lures, live bait and everything you might need for fishing or hunting. The gentle that served us helped the other shopper's find what they needed, was cordial and polite. My 2 sons had a very good experience here. Unfortunately they used 2 containers of worms in a day and a half. Good thing they have a bait loyalty card
Store is a rip off don’t go there they have the exact same stuff in Minden Canadian tire for half the price of this store also bought a 650$ cross bow from here and every bolt came loose on the bow

Store has everything you need for fishing purposes. The guy at the counter was very helpful and shared some fishing knowledge about the lakes in the area.
Great sporting goods store, live bait. Large selection of high quality products, fishing and hunting. Tackle and Ammo.
If You buy a faulty item its your problem. Return policy is terrible . The staff owner gave me Attitude. I didnt even get to use my Purchase it was just broken. Seems most things there are from china .. might as well buy from amazon or Cabela'sOr if you're up for the trip ellwood epps is a much better store with friendly staff.
Called this bait shop to understand covid lockdown process curbside vs in store. Lady on the phone was rude and not helpful. Asked how we can choose out bait crankbaits, etc.. Because of her rude interaction we drove out far to Smith and Sons bait shop where we got excellent customer service and spent over $700 on baits and rods. Outdoor Plus should work on their customer service. People just want to enjoy the experience of fishing and you missed out on a great sale day. Should be more important than ever esp now.
Karen was very knowledgable and helpful. Good selection of fishing gear. Tackle appears better quality than the big box stores. And the bait minnows live a long time.
Loved this place since I was a kid, I'm 28 and I still come here.
