Harper Power Sports & Marine Ltd. (HPSM) is a long time established recreational products dealership Located in the heart of Haliburton Highlands cottage country south of Minden on Hwy 35 – just 2 hours north of Toronto and located in the midst of the best ATV trail system in Ontario and an excellent snowmobile destination that has prime winter sledding conditions. Our second marina location is on the shores of Lake Kashagawigamog in the heart of the Haliburton Highlands, conveniently located on County Road 21 between Minden and Haliburton villages. We are a go to dealership for Bomabardier Can-Am, Sea-Doo, Ski-Doo, Evinrude as well as Glastron, Scarab, Mercury, Smokercraft, Sunchaser, Trition and Northtrail. This review is solely based on the level of customer service from the front counter, if I could rate the mechanical work separately I would because that was excellent....but the confusion at the front counter made the process very nerve wracking with wrong info and calls not returned and then being confrontational when called on it....as long as you can deal with that the mechanical work is as I said excellent. **Edit** the snow was gone when this was written at first and the sled had only been out for one run, since then it went out once more a week ago right after the snow and blew the engine again.....so not a very great experience after spending almost $3,000 at Harper and even though the owner has commented here we have left multiple messages for them and called for a week We have had silence from Harper and no call back at all to discuss anything.....I am now looking at what our legal recourse is.... **Update April 23rd*** contacted by the owner and will be taking the sled up to be looked at and hopefully repaired. I will further update this when We come to the end of this process.

Awesome people to deal with. Our first trip out on our snowmobile we ran into an issue while on the trail, we called Harper's for parts there was not trail access but they offered to bring us the parts we needed to get us going again. Great people, would definitely recommend them :)

Recently purchased a new Seadoo through this dealer. Was able to obtain exactly what I was looking for in relation to the product itself. Received a quick response with all my needs satisfied. Dan was great to deal with answered any of my questions and concerns quickly and efficiently. Overall I was dissatisfied with the service I had obtained once put in touch with a Sales rep. Staff was friendly and polite, however seemed to be very disorganized and there seemed to be a lack in communication. Made an initial down payment of $2,000. A few days later advised the representative that I wanted to make another $2,000 down payment. I was told to make the additional payment when coming in to pick up the Seadoo. Called the evening before pick up to confirm everything was ready to go for pick up the following morning. Was advised by a different representative that all had been completed. Arrived the following morning to find out my initial down payment had not been taken into account in the amount being financed and as well the additional $2000 that I had wanted to put down upon pick up. Was advised I would have to wait at least 3 hours for the paperwork to be fixed by the financing company (after driving over an hour to pick up the Seadoo). I dealt with 2 very nice women at the front desk that helped sort this out to the best of their ability based on my circumstances (by not having to wait 3 hours to have the paperwork fixed). However, I was cut a cheque and now I am left having to deal with the financing company to make the $4000 down payment. Very frustrating as a consumer being stuck having to fix mistakes made on the dealers end. I had hoped the dealer would have reached out to me after the mix up on their end. This is the first brand new Seadoo I have purchased and it will most likely not be my last. Personally, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I would most likely seek a different dealer in the future. Overall, the 3 star review is generous based on my experience.

Great experience along with very friendly staff. No pushy sales people and listen to what you want. Amazing full service dealership for all your cottage powersport toys.
